Story
Double the Fun: Meet Jack & Sissy! Howdy, friends! I’m Jack Mac, a 49 lb orange and white Brittany boy, and I never go anywhere without my sister and best buddy, Sissy. We’re a bonded pair, which means you get double the love, double the fun, and double the cuddles! Why We’re Your Perfect Pair: I’m the Toy King: I love carrying my toys everywhere—it’s my thing! Fetch? Yes, please. Tug? You got it. Sissy might try to steal my toys, but I let her because I’m a gentleman. Cuddle Masters: Sissy and I are expert snugglers. If you’re sitting down, expect both of us to climb into your lap for all the love—and maybe a nap or two. Critter Patrol Experts: With a fenced yard, we’ll chase all the squirrels, birds, and leaves to keep your yard safe from boredom. Good with Everyone: Cats? Cool. Kids? Love them. Dogs? Bring it on. We’re a social pair who love making friends. Fun Facts About Me (Jack): I’m housebroken and crate trained (as long as I can see my sister—it’s a package deal!). I’m working on my leash manners, but hey, who doesn’t like a challenge? I know commands like sit, stay, come, and even “easy” (whatever that means, I’m just naturally cool). If you’re looking for a pair of loving, playful, and goofy pups, Jack & Sissy are ready to fill your home with laughter, love, and a whole lot of tail wags! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 The adoption fee for TX/Jack Mac, who lives in Sanger, TX  is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Jack  part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com  and/or Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Jack.  Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  January 23, 2025, 3:55 pm

Story
Pink noseHI! My name is Anna. Not from FROZEN, even though it sure looks and feels like it outside. I am a sweet southern lady who is looking for her furever home. I am only 9 months young. Me and my sister found ourselves without our hoodad and NBRAN was nice to take us both in since we are part Brittany from our mom, and our furdad was a lab.  I have the best foster mom who has been working with me since I’m still a puppy. She has crate and potty trained me. She is teaching me to walk on a leash. When we go for a walk, I like to talk to people, dogs and cats and tell them hi! I will need a physical fence of at least 4 feet.  I have been spayed and UTD on all my shots and HW preventative. I love to cuddle and snuggle on the couch. I will also give you plenty of smooches! My favorite activities are running, chasing balls, and watching the birds and squirrels.  I have played with a variety of dogs and get along with them.  Me and sister Elsa are not bonded, and we would prefer to have our own family! If you think I would be a good fit for each other, please contact www.nbran.org to submit an application. My adoption fee is 350.00 I am currently located in Georgia however, if you would love to make me a part of your family, NBRAN will transport up to 1400 miles. If any questions please contact neca227@gmail.com or amypgay@gmail.com or karliebreana@gmail.comJanuary 25, 2025, 7:46 pm

Story
Meet 9 mth Remington: Your Lovable Goofball! Hey there! I’m Remington, the sweet, goofy, and endlessly curious pup who’s ready to steal your heart (and maybe your lap for a nap). I’m an expert at living life to the fullest—whether it’s running outside, chasing birds, or soaking up all the love I can get. Let me tell you a little more about myself: Why You’ll Love Me: I’m all about kisses, hugs, and pets—the more, the better! Fetch? Oh, I’m a pro. I’ll keep you entertained for hours. I’m outdoorsy and adventurous, with a soft spot for bird-watching (okay, chasing). I’ve got a curious and adaptable spirit—I love exploring and learning new things. No toy or food aggression here—I’m as gentle as they come! I would love to have a playmate, physical fenced in yard, and be spoiled rotten. Things I’m Working On (But Hey, Nobody’s Perfect): I get so excited about life that I sometimes jump up to say hello (I’m learning to keep all four paws on the ground!). Sharing space with other pets—sometimes I just need a little extra guidance to remember boundaries. Baths and car rides? Not my favorites… but I’m open to bribes (treats, please!). A Peek into My Personality: I’m a lovable mix of clumsy and cautious. New things can make me pause, but with a little encouragement, I’m all in! After a good play session (or a fun bird chase), I’ll happily snuggle up for a nap—bonus points if it’s in your lap. I love being with my humans and learning new things—it’s all part of my charm. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving sidekick who’s equal parts playful and cuddly, I’m your guy! Let’s explore, play fetch, and cuddle our way into forever! A little about Remington:  Orange/white Brittany w/tail, 37 #’s, UTD on vaccines, HW/Tick Neg and on prevention.  Came into NBRAN with his mother JoJo.  I would love to have a playmate, physical fenced in yard, The adoption fee for TX/Remington Steele, who lives in Houston, TX  is $500,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making TX/Remington  part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org . A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Remington.  Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  January 23, 2025, 12:11 pm

Story
Say Hello to Lola! She is a beautiful 4 year 10-month-old female liver and white purebred American Brittany. Lola is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines and on heartworm preventative. At her foster home, she loves to interact with her foster pack and enjoys being outdoors.  She has wonderful manners and is a real cuddle bug.  Lola is both housetrained and crate trained, although she is seldom crated at her foster home. Walking on a leash is not Lola’s favorite thing to do because she prefers to be free to run, but she does fairly well when she is walked on a leash.  She is a typical Brittany and is considered active and loves to swim!  Because Lola came from a home with an invisible fence prior to coming to NBRAN, she would be a great candidate for a new home with an invisible fence. Of course she would need a refresher course in her new environment, but would do great.  She would also thrive with a physical fence.  If Lola was offered regular opportunities to socialize, she would be ok as the only dog in the house.  She enjoys the company of her Brittany foster siblings, but is not fond of small dogs or cats.  Do you think your home is a good fit for this  beautiful well-mannered little sweetheart?  If so, submit an application at the following link: https://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application.  Lola can be transported up to 1400 miles to the right home. If interested in this precious girl, reach out to Suzanne Horsley ztasuzanne@gmail.com or Debbie Tuthill agilitybrits@gmail.com.  January 29, 2025, 11:14 am

Story
Meet Betty Sue: The Confident, Blanket-Loving Queen! Betty Sue is one-of-a-kind—a confident, adaptable pup who marches to the beat of her own drum. She settles into new places quickly, isn’t fazed by loud noises, chaos, or high-energy environments, and loves blankets (seriously, she’s a blanket connoisseur!). (11 yrs old, 30 lbs of lovable orange/white spayed Brittany.  UTD on vaccines, HW/Tick Neg and on prevention.  Just had a dental and had 12 teeth pulled, and she never missed a beat. Does have some cataracts, but can see and enjoy life. Not on any meds.  Healthy. Housebroken.) Why You’ll Love Betty Sue: &#226&#156&#148 Confident & Fearless – New places? No problem. Loud noises? Whatever. This girl is ready to take on the world! &#226&#156&#148 Affectionate (On Her Terms) – Loves a good cuddle session but also respects your personal space. &#226&#156&#148 Dog & Kid Friendly – Gets along well with other dogs and children, making her a great family pup. &#226&#156&#148 Vocalizes – Happy funny noises.  &#226&#156&#148 A Total Blanket Enthusiast – If it’s soft and cozy, she’s claiming it. Her Quirky Side (AKA Areas for Growth ): Lacks Manners (or Thinks She’s Royalty?) – Betty Sue may believe the world revolves around her. She’s an opportunist, meaning if she sees a chance to grab something off the counter… she just might. Curious & Bold – She’s got a strong independent streak, which means she might test some boundaries (but hey, that’s part of her charm!). Final Thoughts: Betty Sue is a fun, confident, and loving girl who would thrive in a home where she can be both adored and kept in check (because let’s face it, she runs the show). She’s a great representation of her breed, with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Are you ready for this sassy, blanket-loving queen to rule your home? The adoption fee for OK/Betty Sue, who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $250,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Betty Sue  part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org . A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Betty Sue.  Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  January 29, 2025, 4:29 pm
