Asha said that she did NOT sign the any media release forms and did not approve of photos today. (Her face 😅😂🤣) I promise while she looks grumpy that couldn't be any further from the truth. Have you always wanted a Boxer but didn't want the size or the energy level? Well Asha our "mini boxer" is your girl. She's a low/medium energy dog who would be happy with the average home and a family to cuddle with to her hearts content. Ashas quarantine period is up and she needs to leave boarding. No not because she's difficult or bad because she's SUPER easy and SOOOO sweet. However I did promise Danielle we would only be quarantining the shelter pull pups so they would only be staying for 2-3 weeks. Asha is a full grown boxer mix but she is quite small for her breed mix making us believe she is potentially mixed with a smaller breed of dog. Once she is healthy we estimate her to be around 30lbs max. She's loving with people and dogs. She is not cat tested but I would be SUPER surprised if with a proper introduction she wasn't cat friendly. She walks on a leash well, gives the sweetest kisses and appears to be crate and house trained. She is looking for a dedicated foster or foster to adopt him. She is currently located in Leesville-Batesburg but can be transported to any of our previous fosters or adopters. New fosters/adopters will need to visit her in person before she can go with them. This is to help prevent any failed placements and bouncing her around. Asha is UTD on vaccines, UTD on prevention meds, has been dewormed multiple times, is spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative. She's estimated to be between 3-4 years old. Is there anyone would possibly like to adopt a 1.5yr old boxer? Meet Tito! He is great with other dogs, cats and kids. Loves to cuddle under the covers! He is house trained and respects a tie out. He is NOT good with chickens so he spends his time outside on a tie out to prevent anymore mishaps...He's had many. However unfortunately his owners are moving very very soon (next month) and are unable to take all of their dogs with them. They have asked for help with finding him a new family without any feathered friends. Now that he is vaccinated, Tito is seeking a foster-to-adopt home (we require short foster trials for our dogs). Tito is a one and a half year old boxer mix. He is neutered and is about 95% crate and house trained. The only issue is you have to pay attention as he does not bark he just gets antsy when he needs to go outside to potty. He gets along well with other dogs and has lived with cats throughout his life, although he does require a gradual introduction to new feline companions. He has been raised around children as well. He's currently fostered with two young kids in the home. One of his quirks is that he can be wary of strangers, barking when he meets new people. However, with a little time, he will warm up and become your loyal companion, likely sticking close to you within an hour or two of arriving at your home. He is allergic to grass so this is something that anyone who chooses to foster or adopt will need to be aware of. He has to stay on his fish based formula of dog food and take his medications every day. He cannot be left outside for long periods of time due to the sensitivity of his skin. While he loves to play outside he is not a high energy dog. Tito would even do great with a home that did not have a fenced yard and required hand walking.

This stunning girl is Sandcastle, a 1 year old boxer mix who was surrendered to us due to no fault of her own. Sandy is a gem of a dog, so well behaved and a volunteer favorite for doggy day outs! Sandcastle walks beautifully in a leash and likes to fetch. With proper introductions, she does great with well behaved/supervised children and other dogs her size.She also loves to cuddle and will lay by your feet while working from home or watching TV.She is crate trained and is mastering her household manners with ease. Sandy is active and playful, friendly, and loves to sunbathe. She is going to make an incredible family gal for an active household who will spoil her as much as she deserves!!
