Story
Meet Piper! This sweet, middle-aged boxer was surrendered to the West Memphis Animal Shelter along with her housemate Phoebe (who’s also up for adoption) after their owner passed away. They spent quite some time at the shelter before coming into our care. While initially considered a bonded pair, Phoebe and Piper are pretty independent. They don't interact much and happily play with other dogs. They’re separated at night with no issues, but if you're looking to adopt two sweet girls, we’re open to it!Check out this adorable video of the girls:https://youtube.com/shorts/ZQkKWla9GSk?si=f0yvWFYSqttBizkMPiper is an outgoing pup who is always ready for an adventure. With her stunning white and tan coat, she turns heads wherever she goes. Piper is a social butterfly who loves playing with other dogs and has a blast with her toys. She walks beautifully on a leash and is a fetch champion!Piper is well-trained, knowing how to sit, shake, and speak on command. She is fully housetrained, making her a great housemate. She’d do great with a younger dog playmate to romp around with—just keep her away from cats, as they’re not her favorite! If you’re looking for a fun-loving, playful companion, Piper is ready to bring joy to your life!Name: PiperBreed: Boxer/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 5.5 years (estimated)Weight: 66 lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive—Pre-treatment has been completed.
