Story
WILLIS🥹, This sweet special little guy had a horrible life prior to coming to us. He is around 4yo and loves all the affection he is now getting. He would do best as an only dog or with another chill dog his size (35lbs) , he gets scared when other dogs are in his face. He is good with kids. No cats at this time. Willis is doing great with working on basic commands, crate training, and is walking nicely on a leash with his emotional support ball😆. He loves to go on car rides for outtings. Please contact Toni at 412-651-5613 with questions and fill out an application at the link below. Adoptions to Southwestern PA only. We are an all volunteer based Nonprofit, kennel license #18143 https://form.jotform.com/221147319747055

Story
Meet Loki Meet Loki – A Brave Boxer Mix Looking for Love and Guidance Loki is a boxer mix with a heart full of love and a story of resilience. Rescued from a heartbreaking situation of neglect, Loki arrived malnourished and scared, with a body score of just 3 out of 10. Today, thanks to proper care and nutrition, he’s a healthy weight and ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a loving family. We estimate that Loki is young, possibly around 2 years old. Loki is eager to please and has already mastered basic commands like “sit” and “lay down.” He is good with other dogs, cats, and people. However, due to his energetic nature and love of jumping, we recommend a home without small children. Loki’s Strengths: -Friendly and non-aggressive -Good with dogs, cats, and older children -Loves toys and playtime -Rides well in the car -Food-motivated and responds well to training -Areas Loki Needs Help With: Loki is still learning the ropes of being a house dog. He will need: -House Training: Loki will need patience and consistency as he learns house manners. Positive reinforcement, frequent potty breaks, and a structured routine will set him up for success. -Crate Training: While Loki is currently afraid of the crate, with time and encouragement, it can become his safe place. -Leash Training: Loki is still working on walking calmly on a leash, so continued training will be key. -Building Confidence: Loki can be skittish and easily scared, crouching down when overwhelmed. He’ll need a patient owner to help him gain confidence at his own pace with positive reinforcement and treats. Ideal Home for Loki: Loki would thrive in a calm, patient, experienced home with a fenced yard where he can safely burn off energy. His new family should be committed to continuing his training and helping him adjust to life as a beloved pet. He’s incredibly playful and loves his toys, so a family ready for fun is a must! Why Loki Deserves a Second Chance: Loki’s rough start hasn’t dampened his spirit. He’s full of love, energy, and potential, and with the right guidance, he’ll grow into a loyal, loving companion. If you’re looking for a dog to help mold into the perfect family pet, Loki is ready to join your team. Are you ready to help Loki on his journey to a brighter future? Apply today and give this courageous boy the loving home he’s been waiting for! Adoption application link can be found here- https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq

Story
Hi! I'm Ziggy!  I'm a male Mountain Cur who is about 7 months oldwith a gorgeous brindle coloring.  I weigh approximately 30 lbs and stand about 18 inches tall. My foster mom doesn't think I'll get much bigger, except for my heart. When my foster mom was having a bad day, I cuddled her back to smiles.  I love to play with my toys but also enjoy chillin on the couch.  I'm really good about going outside to potty, and only have an accident on rare occasions. I know sit, stay, leave it and walk pretty good on a leash, but still am a little afraid of the cars going by.  I am super friendly but, I do like to herd my people. My foster mom loves me but would be really happy for me if I found my furever home so she can help more dogs find good homes. Can you resist these eyes??? ##2225625##
