Meet Jax (aka Jaxy Boy): Jax is about a 10 month old (as of May, 2025) pit / boxer mix (best guess) that weighs about 45 pounds. Jax was found on a random road/trail limping along and under nourished (a tiny 28 pounds). His rescuer was able to save him and get him the medical care he needed and into a loving foster home! Sweet Jaxy Boy is currently being fostered in the south and would love to catch the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Jax is a really good pup! Jax is a super cuddler and knows exactly what to do when you sit on the couch or lay down in bed! Jax gets along great with cats, other dogs and kids! Jax has never shown any aggression in any shape, way or form towards children; he truly is a sweet soul! Jax played well with other dogs he’s been exposed to. He knows how to set his boundaries and nipped at one of the newer rambunctious puppies when they got too in his face, but he gave them the proper heads up to back off. Jax loves being around his family so much! He helps his foster mom feed the horses every night and follows her around. Jax would much prefer to be with his people and does not like his crate. His foster is working on it and he’s gotten better in the crate, but he gets stressed and can have separation anxiety so would do much better not crated. Jax would do best in a home that has his people around to shower him with love throughout the day! Jax loves to play and he loves his toys! Jax is potty trained and does well outside without a leash; he comes when called. Jax is up to date on his shots and neutered. Don’t let the photos fool you — she’s smaller than she looks, but her personality is full-sized! This happy-go-lucky girl is always ready for fun, whether it’s a long walk, a ride in the car, or an epic game of tug-of-war (her absolute favorite!). Zara is extremely friendly and social — she wants to be everyone’s best friend. She lives in a foster home with multiple dogs of all sizes and gets along wonderfully with them, as well as with cats. She loves belly rubs, playtime, and being part of the action. She would do best in a home without dominant dogs and with older kids only, due to very mild food guarding behavior. It’s manageable (she’s currently not even separated during meals), but we want to set her and her future family up for success.
