Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, they call me Loretta and I am a such a pretty girl.  They think I’m about 2 years old but we aren’t sure as when I was lost and found, I didn’t have any papers with me. I am calmer than most boxers and I walk well on a leash.  Sometimes men make me a little nervous but once trust is established, I am your girl.  I am fine with other dogs and have not been cat tested.  I’m overall a great pup. If you have some boxer experience or want to welcome me into your home, please submit your application.  I think we’d be great together. Applications can be found on our website at www.onedogatatime.us Thank you for considering adoption through ODAAT. Our dedication to our animals goes beyond finding them a home; we aim to match them with families where they will thrive and receive the love and care that they so desperately deserve.  We believe in finding not just homes, but forever families for our beloved animals. Our thorough adoption process is designed to ensure that each furry friend finds the perfect match based on their unique needs and personalities. Please know that we do not rush this process, as we prioritize compatibility over speed. Your patience and understanding as we work towards finding the ideal match for both our rescues and your family means the world to us. Story
**Meet Spirit!** Spirit is a 1-year-old boxer mix with the most gorgeous blue eyes and a smile that will melt your heart. This sweet boy is very well-behaved and has quickly earned the nickname “Velcro dog” because he loves to stick close to his people. He’s pretty good on a leash and enjoys car rides, although he’s still a bit tentative and needs some encouragement to get in. Spirit is also working on his crate training; while he’s hesitant to enter, he does well once inside and doesn’t have accidents. Spirit is fantastic with children and gets along wonderfully with the 7-year-old in his current foster home. He’s still learning how to play with toys and prefers soft treats over hard ones. If you’d like to be the family that shows Spirit, what love is all about. Spirit is sure to become a loyal and loving companion. Are you ready to give Spirit the forever home he deserves? Story
This lovely lady is Madeline. She came to us as a stray so we don't know much about her, but what we have found is that she is a total love bug. She loves to play fetch and is perfectly content playing with squeaky toys all on her own. She loves to be outside in the fresh air exploring the world and would love to be someone's hiking buddy. She will find anyway to sit in your lap and soak up all the attention she can. She loves to snuggle and after a long day will gladly lay on the couch with you and rest. She can sit like a lady for her treats but will need some help with her other basic training skills along with some leash and potty training. If you think that Madeline is the girl for you, please feel free to apply for her at www.clearfieldcountyspca.org.

Story
Have you heard of the saying “Good things come to those who wait”? Well, I have and I know someone has been waiting for “ME”, and I for them! I know the wait will be well worth it for the both of us! I’m Otto, a 1 year old boy weighing about 60# (but may fill out yet), with beautiful CHOCOLATE facial marking to highlight my personality filled face, and another spot on my “Rump”!! Being 1 of “7” in a litter turned into a shelter, we were lonely, lost and afraid. Fortunately, we were all scooped up by “Molly’s Place Rescue”. My 2 brothers and I are still waiting for a home. Our “4” sisters were adopted, but as you know, Male dogs are the Best! No, really! They don’t call female dogs “Bitches” without reason!! HA! HA! Just kidding, my sisters were OK, for girls! Anyway, I’m really a goofy, fun-loving, well-behaved boy said to have a FANTASTIC Temperament, and a real HAM! I’m good with all adults, kids, love other dogs AND EVEN CATS!!! REALLY!!!! Yes, I’m bragging about myself! Initially I’m shy, but warm up quick once feeling safe. Yep, I have it all. Thought to be a Boxers and Border Terriers mix, I’ve inherited the best of both very intelligent breeds. They are also known for being very people oriented, affectionate and great family pets. We LOVE OUR PEOPLE! Otto is German in origan, meaning “Wealth and Fortune”! I have a “Wealth” of love to give and it would be “My Fortune” to have you as my owner! So come on and Let’s share some time! Otto is waiting for YOU! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*Lewistown, PA* Deitz is an Old American bulldog mix who is true to his breed. He was born in 2013. When he is not playing hard, he just wants to cuddle and warning... he thinks he is a lap dog. He enjoys chewing on bones, deer antlers, and playing with squeaky toys. A fenced yard would be ideal for his energy. If no fence, daily exercise would be a must for him. He rides great in the car and would be a great dog for hikes and long walks. Don't let his age full you.. this boy still has lots of energy and love to share. He would do best in a calmer home without a lot of people in and out. He does good with medium to large dogs, small dogs we would not recommend. He is not good with cats. Older/considerate kids would be best for him to play with since he is a solid boy. He seems to do best with women and is slow to warm up to men, but once he trusts you, you’re golden. He came to ODAAT after his human Mom passed away in their home. Deitz stayed by her side for days until they were found by family and sadly the family was unable to keep him. Understandably so, he will be protective of your family. He would never want to lose you. When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are ran prior to choosing an adopter.. This process takes time and we do not adopt out on a "first come first served" basis. Applications are found on our website www.onedogatatime.us .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 4, 2024, 4:02 pm
