Meet Queen (nicknames: Queen Bean, and Queen of the Beans) Queen is a gentle, loving mama whose puppies have all found homes—now it’s her turn to shine! She’s the perfect companion, great with dogs, cats, chickens, kids—basically anyone she meets! Playful and silly, especially with other dogs, her short-legged zoomies will have you laughing in no time. But most of the time, she’s so quiet and low-maintenance, you might forget she’s even there. Well, until you catch sight of her forever wiggle butt squeezing into spaces she doesn’t quite fit! While she’s still getting the hang of walking on a leash, she’s an excellent riding buddy and loves to be close. Super snuggly but equally happy in her crate, she runs there any time she thinks it’s time to eat! Just don’t let her fool you with her big booty—she’s a bit clumsy and sometimes seems blissfully unaware of her surroundings. Queen’s no jumper either, but her little dance next to the bed will tell you she’s ready to be picked up. And when she decides to join in, forget about personal space—she’ll wedge herself right next to you, but thankfully, she’s not a licker! She just nudges her head into you, rolls onto her back, and throws her feet in the air. If you’re looking for an easy, house-trained, calm but playful young adult who brings joy, cuddles, and plenty of smiles, Queen is your girl! Meet Chloe, a 3-month-old boxer/terrier mix pup with a curious mind and a spirited hop!  Chloe and her six siblings had the good fortune of being born into the comforts of a home after a Good Samaritan took in their stray mama shortly before she gave birth.  Born December 19, they have known nothing but love and safety ever since.  These pups are happy and sweet just like their mama, who is on the smaller side at about 30 pounds. They’ve been super affectionate to their foster families. Lots of kisses and the best puppy breath! They don’t mind eating food and playing with toys, but they absolutely love to give and receive affection from their humans. It’s their number one motivation, which makes them top-notch cuddlers!  You’ll occasionally catch Chloe hopping like a bunny in the yard, especially when there’s a pile of leaves to hop into. Chloe is curious about the world around her and seems ready for any adventure. When it’s time to relax, Chloe and her sister Clara join forces for the most adorable and compact puppy piles. They love taking naps on the couch with their foster mom.  Chloe and her littermates are all working on potty training and crate training, taking naps throughout the day in their crates and going outside to potty when they wake up. They’re all off to a good start, but their forever families will likely need to continue the work to get them perfectly potty trained.  Chloe and her siblings are on track to be medium to large size dogs when full grown, probably around 60 lbs, give or take. These puppies are poised to be great additions to any family with enough time and love to nurture them!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*Lewistown, PA* Deitz is an Old American bulldog mix who is true to his breed. He was born in 2013. When he is not playing hard, he just wants to cuddle and warning... he thinks he is a lap dog. He enjoys chewing on bones, deer antlers, and playing with squeaky toys. A fenced yard would be ideal for his energy. If no fence, daily exercise would be a must for him. He rides great in the car and would be a great dog for hikes and long walks. Don't let his age full you.. this boy still has lots of energy and love to share. He would do best in a calmer home without a lot of people in and out. He does good with medium to large dogs, small dogs we would not recommend. He is not good with cats. Older/considerate kids would be best for him to play with since he is a solid boy. He seems to do best with women and is slow to warm up to men, but once he trusts you, you’re golden. He came to ODAAT after his human Mom passed away in their home. Deitz stayed by her side for days until they were found by family and sadly the family was unable to keep him. Understandably so, he will be protective of your family. He would never want to lose you. When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are ran prior to choosing an adopter..
