Moon Pie's Story Meet Moon Pie 2 Years Old | 80 lbs | Spayed | UTD on Vaccines | House Trained Moon Pie is an 80-pound athlete wrapped in pure affection. She will be two years old on June 27 and is a Boxer × Hanging Tree mix — which means brains, drive, and heart in one powerful package. Her story began with resilience. She survived a severe back injury after being trapped under a pallet. A veterinarian stepped in, treated the wound, and gave her the second chance she deserved. You’ll see the scar — it’s part of her story, not a limitation. Moon Pie is deeply people-oriented. She believes she is a lap dog. She thrives on connection, attention, and having “her person.” Temperament & Home Needs * Loves people * High energy, working-dog drive * House trained * Spayed (September 11) * Up to date on vaccinations She does well with a small dog in her current home, but she has had conflict with a similarly sized, high-energy dog. For everyone’s safety and success, we are recommending: ✔ An only-dog home, or ✔ A home with a calm, opposite-sex dog after proper introduction ✔ Experienced handler preferred ✔ Secure fencing required ✔ Active lifestyle strongly encouraged This is not a couch-potato dog. Moon Pie will excel with structure, exercise, and clear leadership. Think hiking partner, property companion, training enthusiast, or someone who understands working-line energy. She is not aggressive toward people. She is powerful, athletic, and needs management that matches her drive. Ideal Home Someone who: * Appreciates strong, smart dogs * Understands arousal management * Provides daily mental and physical outlets * Wants a loyal, affectionate companion Moon Pie isn’t difficult — she’s driven. There’s a difference.

I usually do it in sign language to him because I am on the phone alot. He also knows the words morning snacks, daytime snacks and night time snacks. Mr Bones loves his snacks and loves to play. Story
Betsy is a FUN dog who loves to be with other dogs, maternal and bouncy. She is not aggressive or bossy but does have a bark and her terrier DNA comes out when meeting new smaller dogs. She has spent most of her time with bigger dogs and enjoys being the 'shortie' of the playgroup. Betsy is not food motivated, nibbles through the day, but has managed to become a bit fluffy. 50 lb dog now, she loves car rides, water! and sunbathing. Betsy is spayed, up to date on vaccines and very health - a bit fluffy as she has matured, now 4 years old. Her breed had been a guess until now! a donated DNA test revealed the classic Houston mutt mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Lab, Boxer, German Shepherd, Shar Pei, Chow Chow. She is a short dog with medium double coat and a sharp mind. YouTube Video (meet Betsy): https://youtu.be/pGvcZikCFFc FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email to Apply! Adopt@CaffeinatedCanineRescueTx.org --------------------------------------------------- Visit our Social Media to see more of our dogs! https://www.facebook.com/CaffeinatedCanineRescueTX History: Betsy came to another rescue with nursing puppies in June of 2023. She has been fostered with kids, other dogs and in a house/apartment. She is crate trained and loves routine - literally bounces up and down, runs outside then back into her crate to nap. She would benefit from a yard due to her energy.

If youre looking for a calm, loyal companion who just wants to be near his people, Bo might be your perfect match.Bo thrives in a low-energy home where he can enjoy life at a slower pace. His favorite things are the simple onessnuggling up on the couch, taking leisurely walks, going for relaxing car rides, and soaking in quiet moments (bonus points if you play acoustic guitar). Hes the kind of dog who will happily nap beside you and remind you to slow down and enjoy the day. While Bo may do best as the only pet, he could potentially share his home with another calm, low-energy dog who respects his laid-back vibe. He isnt looking for chaosjust comfort, consistency, and companionship.Like many Boxers, Bo has a few breed-related health items to keep an eye on, but he is currently in good health. We will provide a full medical history to help his future family stay informed and prepared. Story
Age: 13 weeks Size: 14 lbs Estimated breed: Boxer/pit bull mix Lives with: Dogs, cats, kids   Dandelion entered into the shelter as a stray, so not much is known about her past. Luckily, at only 12 weeks old her future is much bigger than her humble past! She is a sweet puppy who has thrived in foster care over the past few weeks, living with dogs, cats, and kids. She is picking up on house and crate training and looking forward to refining her skills with a forever family. Dandelion is 13 weeks old and currently weighs 14 lbs. We are guessing she is a boxer/pit bull mix, but we don’t know who her parents are so we can’t say for sure! She is spayed, dewormed, and up to date on her vaccines and monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Dandelion will do great with a family with the time, patience, and love to train a young puppy like herself.   To adopt Dandelion, please apply on our website! https://www.nirvanaanimalrescue.org/adoption-application   Dandelion's adoption fee is $350, which covers her spay, vaccines, monthly prevention, and microchip.     Please note we cannot guarantee the age or breed of our dogs. All of our dogs are working on their crate and house training.     PA Kennel License #18366March 25, 2026, 5:25 pm

We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/14/26 Charlie is the sweetest little snuggle bug at only 9 months old and about 30 pounds. When we first met Charlie, he was skin and bones but he's very healthy now. His favorite thing is meal time and he dances around his food bowl with excitement and joy! He's discovered bones, which he loves, but he loves stuffed toys more than anything else. He would be great with kids but ultimately he's looking for a best friend that he can follow around with a big happy smile. His favorite things are soft blankets, stuffy toys, and having a full tummy. We do not know his breed, American Bulldog mix is a guess. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and microchipped. He started at the Paws in Prison program the week of 2/2, where he is paired with inmate trainers who are working with him on basic commands, house training, and maybe a few tricks! When he graduates he will have all of the skills needed to pass the Canine Good Citizen test. This is an 8 week program and we hope to have an adopter ready and waiting for him when he graduates (the week of 3/30).  Charlie is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Chugger is great boy. He is 100% Staffordshire Bull Terrier but is a dwarf with really bad hip displasia. He can only do 1 step and needs non slip floors. He has his own ramp to get up on the sofa. He is crate trained but has done great being left out when his foster is not home. He is on special food. He weighs about 54 lbs. He only goes outside to potty but “walks” are limited to a 5 minute lap around the perimeter of the house due to his weak legs. He is also pretty deaf. Not fully, but pretty severe. He is low maintenance. He sleeps a lot and plays with toys. Chugger likes company but is not a Velcro dog. He is not a fan of the snow/cold. He will need to be leashed to get him to go outside long enough to do his business. Otherwise he pees and runs for the door. He can do a couple of steps to get in the front door but does not do stairs at all. He doesn’t bark much at all. He met another small female dog and was non-reactive and had zero interest in her.  Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs.
