She soon gave birth to her 7 puppies and after weaning her pups, where she was an excellent mother, she was moved to another foster. She will be spayed and treated for heartworms and hopefully learn what it feels like to be in a safe and loving home. After treatment she will be available for adoption. Despite the gray hairs on her muzzle (don’t prematurely age this gal as it is typical for the boxer breed to get gray a little early) she is guessed to be 3 years of age. 🐾 She is guessed to be 3+ years old,💘 32 pounds, 💖 cat friendly,🐾 dog friendly 💘 knows how to sit,💖 crate trained,🐾 food motivated,💘 house broken in her fosters home,💖 gentle, nervous, lower energy,🐾 has the classic Boxer undershot jaw, 💘 shy velcro dog,💖 would like a playmate to teach her how to be a dog in a safe loving home,🐾 …Cinnamon has only been with her family for a short time. She is slowly learning how to be a dog and to relax in her environment with the help of her fosters personal dogs. She will need a family where she is given a structured environment and the necessary time to learn to trust. There is not a mean bone in this gals body and she deserves her chance at being a happy playful pup.Stay tuned as her bio will be updated as we get to know her.."This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. OPH will treat the dog and provide two weeks of recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator.
