Story
The name Casper can be traced back to the “Old Testament” meaning “TREATSURE”! I’m truly a Treasure, I’m Casper, a 1 year old boy that is gentle demeanor, “Smart as a Whip”, Well behaved and have a Fantastic Temperament. At about 60#, I’m 1 of “7” pups turned in at a shelter. Scared and afraid, we only had each other. Lucky for us,” Molly’s Place Rescue” stepped up and brought us into rescue. Our sisters were adopted, but my “2” brothers and I are still here, waiting for “Just the right person/family”. My photo does not do me justice. I’m white with short wiry hair on my face and a little tan circle around one eye and a few tan dots on my ears. These areas will probably darken up as I mature more and fill out. My eyes are deep, dark and endearing! Thought to be a Boxers and Border Terriers mix, I’ve inherited the best of both very intelligent breeds. They are also known for being very people oriented, affectionate and great family pets. We LOVE OUR PEOPLE! I’m great with other dogs, CATS, adults and Even KIDS! Heck, what more do you want? Although I still have some learning, my temperament is soft, calm and initially shy. Once in my comfort zone, I do warm up quickly befriending all who will take “my paw”! No experience needed for me, not even a fenced yard. Walks, rides or a game of Fetch will help me learn and bond with you for life. I’m Casper and I’m waiting to be “YOUR TREASURED Boy”! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Story
Hello there! I’m called “Bumble”. You know, the Gigantic, white furred Yeti with long pointed fangs in the movie “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer”! NO, just Kidding! I am Bumble, BUT a lover of all things. Young, old, humans, other dogs and even cats! I’m a humble boy who loves to play, fetch, eager to please and even tempered! Shy at first when out of my comfort zone, I do warm up quick and give/take affection freely. At just 1 year old, about 60#, I do have a lot to learn. Having been 1 of “7” turned into a shelter at a young age, we stayed huddled close for strength. Scared and unsure of the future, Molly’s Place stepped in and brought us to rescue. Although my sisters, “4”, have been adopted, we “3” boys are still looking for just the right home to call our own. I’ve heard “Good things come to those that wait!” Well, I know there is a plan for my future and I’m a patient boy in nature yet ready anytime to meet my special family. Looking at my brothers, I must say I am the MOST HANSOME of the 3! Snowy white, wiry hair around my face, deep dark expressive eyes, black button nose and a smile that can light up the night when playing and romping. Being “Goofy” comes natural to me, but thought to be Boxer/Border Terrier mix, I do have intelligence and brain power to learn be trained. No fenced in yard required nor prior dog experience required, just down and dirty time, Love to give and experiences to allow me to be the best I can be. How about meeting. I’m Bumble, and I’ll “Bee” all you want me to “Bee” and more! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Story
Meet Queen (nicknames: Queen Bean, and Queen of the Beans) Queen is a gentle, loving mama whose puppies have all found homes—now it’s her turn to shine! She’s the perfect companion, great with dogs, cats, chickens, kids—basically anyone she meets! Playful and silly, especially with other dogs, her short-legged zoomies will have you laughing in no time. But most of the time, she’s so quiet and low-maintenance, you might forget she’s even there. Well, until you catch sight of her forever wiggle butt squeezing into spaces she doesn’t quite fit! While she’s still getting the hang of walking on a leash, she’s an excellent riding buddy and loves to be close. Super snuggly but equally happy in her crate, she runs there any time she thinks it’s time to eat! Just don’t let her fool you with her big booty—she’s a bit clumsy and sometimes seems blissfully unaware of her surroundings. Queen’s no jumper either, but her little dance next to the bed will tell you she’s ready to be picked up. And when she decides to join in, forget about personal space—she’ll wedge herself right next to you, but thankfully, she’s not a licker! She just nudges her head into you, rolls onto her back, and throws her feet in the air. If you’re looking for an easy, house-trained, calm but playful young adult who brings joy, cuddles, and plenty of smiles, Queen is your girl! Story
**Meet Spirit!** Spirit is a 1-year-old boxer mix with the most gorgeous blue eyes and a smile that will melt your heart. This sweet boy is very well-behaved and has quickly earned the nickname “Velcro dog” because he loves to stick close to his people. He’s pretty good on a leash and enjoys car rides, although he’s still a bit tentative and needs some encouragement to get in. Spirit is also working on his crate training; while he’s hesitant to enter, he does well once inside and doesn’t have accidents. Spirit is fantastic with children and gets along wonderfully with the 7-year-old in his current foster home. He’s still learning how to play with toys and prefers soft treats over hard ones. If you’d like to be the family that shows Spirit, what love is all about. Spirit is sure to become a loyal and loving companion. Are you ready to give Spirit the forever home he deserves? Story
Meet Sir Brompton! 🐾 Sir Brompton and his Mama Kate are two sweet souls that were found wandering onto the property of a kind-hearted person, most likely abandoned and searching for safety. Brompton, a playful 3-month-old puppy, adores his mama and hates to be away from her, but we know the chances of them finding a home together are slim. As much as he loves her, he’s ready to start a new chapter in a forever home full of love and belly rubs! 💙 This adorable boy is full of playful energy and is the first to flop over for belly rubs as soon as you pet him! Sir Brompton is a bundle of love who will follow you around, gazing up with those big, sweet, yet slightly sad eyes, asking for just a bit more affection. He’s amazing with dogs of all ages and sizes, as well as gentle and affectionate with kids and all visitors. Brompton would make a loyal and loving addition to any family—give him a cozy bed, a few treats, and some love, and he’ll be your most devoted friend. We’d love for Brompton and his mama to find their forever homes. If you can open your heart to this little “sushi roll” of a puppy, he’s ready to fill your days with joy and companionship. 🐶 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.
