Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hey there, I'm Kobe and I'm on a mission to fill your life with endless cuddles and tail wags! I was recently rescued off death row from Rowan County. Here's a little peek into what makes me special: Cuddle Expert: I'm a certified cuddle connoisseur! There's nothing I love more than snuggling up with my humans for some quality bonding time. Get ready for lots of warmth and love, especially during movie time! Leash Learning Pro: I may be new to this whole leash thing, but I'm eager to learn! I'm learning not to pull but every walk is an adventure, and I'm excited to explore the world by your side. Food Enthusiast and Trust Builder: I'm cautious at first, but I quickly warm up to people, especially if they offer me tasty treats! Food is the key to my heart, and once you have my trust, I'll love you forever. So let's bond over some delicious snacks and build a lifelong friendship together! Friendly Socialite: Although I've attempted to engage in playful antics with my doggy brother, he prefers a more laid-back vibe. My parents think I may need to learn the art of sharing affection with other pups who match my energy and enthusiasm. So let's find some new furry friends to romp and play with together, as I navigate the world of canine camaraderie! I do well with small dogs and big dogs if they are not overly energetic. Road Trip Ready: I'm a pro when it comes to car rides – no motion sickness here! Let's embark on some fun adventures together! Potty Prodigy: Good news – I've got this whole potty training thing down! Say goodbye to accidents because I'm a pro at doing my business in all the right places. Crating Expert: I'm crate trained. Just make sure to leave me with a Kong and some treats! Ready to welcome some love, laughter, and tail wags into your life? Then look no further – I can't wait to become your new best friend! Let's make memories together that will last a lifetime. Online Adoption Application › Tank is a 3.5 year old boxer-staffie mix.  He came to Pawfect Match when his shelter was flooded. Tank was originally surrendered when his owner could no longer take care of him.   At the shelter, he responded well to positive reinforcement training to reduce humping.  He is very social and leans into people for pets.   We are not sure how he is with other dogs-- slow introductions are neededVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 12, 2024, 11:52 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › About Dottie formerly Zoe Dottie is a boxer mix (Boxer, Beagle, and Great pyrenees). She will be 4 years old on November 27th, weighs 36lbs (medium size dog), Simperica Trio (flea, tick, and heart guard treatment), and current on all shots and check ups. She is a very sweet, playful girl with lots of personality. She likes to play with the other animals, toys, will be talkative when in a good mood, loves to cuddle, be lazy and take naps, and will be your best friend if you allow her to sleep on the bed with you! She eats twice a day, good appetite. She is a gentle, non aggressive eater. She does get anxiety when it storms where she will pant and tremble. We give her trazodone for this (vet recommended). She has separation anxiety and would do well in a home that someone is home more vs being left alone for long periods of time. She is house broken and doggie door trained. She uses a crate when left home alone, so she doesn’t chew anything (due to separation anxiety). She does well on the leash and enjoys going on walks. She does well in the car, with kids, adults, other dogs, and cats. Being that she’s social, but shy at first around new people, she prefers to be around people and other animals, vs sitting alone.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 12, 2024, 11:52 am

Story
Meet Niko, a vibrant 4.5-year-old Boxer mix, brimming with energy and a fun-loving spirit. This lively pup adores car rides and delights in indulging in pup cups from his favorite coffee shops. Niko is well-mannered, being both house and crate trained, proficient in basic commands, and always gentle when taking treats.Enthusiastic about walks, Niko is quite skilled on a leash, but could benefit from further training in this area. A secure, fenced-in backyard would be the perfect space for him to thrive. As an eager learner, Niko's food motivation makes him all the more endearing and devoted to his human companions.Niko yearns to be your best friend, following you around, cuddling, and giving affectionate kisses. His loving personality truly stands out and will win your heart. He will flourish with an attentive owner who can provide the attention he craves. While Niko's compatibility with cats remains uncertain, he bonds well with his foster sibling, but can be selective when it comes to meeting new dogs. At his core, Niko is a gentle giant, with a tender heart that is easily frightened by thunder and lightning. If you are interested in this animal please start by filling out an adoption application at http://www.CFP-NC.org/adoptions and we will get in touch with you.
