Story
My name is Marleigh and I’m a boxer mix born on June 9, 2024. I was recently rescued from what you might call a doggie frat house. There were lots of us, it was stinky, and you never really knew what the sticky stuff on the floor was; let’s just say I’m thrilled to be living in my new foster home! I’m a very sweet girl who loves everyone I meet and I will spend my time following you around, wagging my tail as we enjoy all of life’s adventures together!  Food is my jam and I very much enjoy drinking water all day long. Any new item I find instantly becomes my new bestie and I will prance around carrying it in my mouth; yes, it’s as cute as you are imagining! When I’m ready for a break I assume the “sploot” position and relax while plotting my next move. I sleep like a baby in my kennel but don’t like spending much time in it during the day if there is playing to be done! I get a little nervous when humans try to pick me up but once I’m up, I love to be held and snuggled.  If you’ve been looking for the perfect happy-go-lucky pup to join your family, check out my link below and fill out an application today! I might be exactly what you’re looking for!    The suggested adoption fee for Marleigh is $415.  Bullies-N-Beyond is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Story
Enzo is an unusual mix of Boxer, MinPin, and Doxie.  Born 8/30/2024, Enzo  is predicted to weigh under 45 lbs. when full-grown since both of his parents are under 45 lbs.  Although he is somewhat timid, he quickly makes friends with new people, and he gets along well with cats and dogs of all sizes. He may not do well with young children because his typically rambunctious puppy play may cause falls.  Enzo is crate trained. The suggested adoption fee for Enzo is $415.  Bullies-N-Beyond is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Story
FOSTER UPDATE: Three cheers for foster parents! Welcome to a little "magic moment" of rescue... Nova Lee's foster mom has been working with her on "stay" for some time and we are happy to share that it's been worth every minute. Nova Lee is no longer a door bolter! This smart girl is heading on to her next command "place," so her future family can look forward to a very smart, well-behaved sweetheart that's probably better trained than any teenager in the house... Nova Lee is a fun-loving Boxer Terrier who was born in April of 2016!  Nova Lee is a smart, busy girl who loves playing fetch, long walks, squirrel watching, and yard games; she's also quite the explorer so will need a backyard with a 6' fence to keep her close to home. She is a friendly girl who gets along with all people but she does NOT enjoy sharing her space with other dogs or cats.... as far as Nova's concerned she's the only 4-legged friend you'll need! She knows basic commands like "sit," "shake," and "ball," but her future family might be interested in working on "stay" --  Nova has learned indoor manners and is perfectly content keeping your spot on the couch warm while you're away from home. Because of these good manners she is not kenneled regularly, but on the rare occassion when she is (out of town visits with family, for example) she pouts for a bit but settles down on her own. Nova is 100% housebroken and will whine to indicate that she needs to go outside to potty. Nova is working on her leash manners... she gets excited and pulls but is working through it with her foster family. According to her foster mom, Nova growls when you play tug of war with her but in a playful way; however, due to her high energy and playful personaiity we think that any kids in her future home should be over the age of 15. Recently, her foster mom discovered that Nova has taken a liking to a particular house slipper... she says that Nova doesn't chew on it she just carries it to her bed and sleeps with it like a stuffed animal! This sweetheart is eager to find a family that will give her the attention, love, and all the birthday cake she deserves! NOTICE:  Nova is dog reactive and is working with a trainer on this behavior.  However, she WILL REQUIRE adopter to work with a trainer free of charge to provide a continuity to her training and help her transition to a new home. The suggested adoption donation for Nova Lee is $265. We are a 501c3 organization which means that your donation may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Your donation goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our animals in rescue, as well as providing supportive services to animals in homes. Information about the adoption process:  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dog’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dog’s needs. If you and the dog are not a good match, we will help you select another dog, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. Story
Say hello to Ronan (b. 10/2021) a Boxer/Pit mix.  Ronan is a loving and sweet energetic pup.  He loves to play with his foster sister, but equally loves to cuddle up on the couch with her and his people afterwards. Ronan is a very happy/good natured pup - he always walks with a pep in his step and has the biggest smile on his face no matter what he is doing. He is high energy and does always realize his size.  He especially has a lot of energy when he's excited, but has been making great improvements with training. He knows some commands, sit, shake, and stay.  He's also been working on lay down. Let's find this sweet boy a place of his own!  The suggested adoption donation for Ronan is $375.  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization which means that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. We do not ship or deliver.  If this pet is not spayed or neutered at the time of adoption due to limited vetting availability, a voucher will be given to the adopter to take the pet to be altered at NHS free of charge. Alterations are REQUIRED for all Muddy Paws adoptions. The contract states the alter must be done within ONE month of the adoption date or adopter will be in breach of contract. Adopters are required to provide proof of alter to Muddy Paws Rescue immediately after the procedure is complete. Thank you in advance for your compliance.
