Story
Meet Ginny, the sweetest, smartest, softest snuggler around! She is a 2-year-old Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier mix (best our vet can tell). You'd never guess this sweetheart spent the first years of her life living as a stray in TX. Ginny's favorites are her humans, walks, chew toys, snuggling, car rides, and treats. It can take her a few minutes to warm up, but when she does she will love you forever! She is so smart and learns commands quickly. She's young so is energetic and needs walks daily, and would not want to be in her kennel for longer than 5 hours at a time. She knows sit, kennel, shake, and down. She is house-trained and crate trained. We use a gentle leader for walks to help her behave. She's just the best girl! We are very sadly rehoming her because she does not get along with our older dog. She needs to be an only dog, although she loves socializing at the dog run. Ginny is on her last treatment for heartworm and will need to follow specific guidelines to heal.

Story
Meet Fenrir, a sweet and loyal shepherd/boxer mix who's ready to find his forever home! This handsome boy came to us underweight and lost, but after some much-needed TLC in a loving foster home, he's gained nearly 15 pounds and is thriving. His foster couldn't say enough good things about him-Fenrir is gentle, affectionate, and got along wonderfully with her dogs and children. Whether he's cuddling on the couch or playing in the yard, Fenrir is the perfect mix of playful and calm. He's ready to bring joy, loyalty, and love to his new family! Story
Rajah came to us in 2017 after being rescued from an abusive situation resulting in him losing his back right leg, but he doesn't let it slow him down. He is now approximately 9 years old. He is still full of energy but can also be a cuddly lump. He is an incredible companion dog, supportive, loyal, and very in tune with his owners emotions and needs. He is protective but not overly. He has a goofy sensibility about him and loves playing with his Kong toys. He's happy playing independently but would love you to join in some fetch or tug of war. Beware though, he is a toy destroyer. Plushies not recommended. Rajah is housebroken and kennel trained. He's generally quiet in his kennel. We do recommend kenneling him because he will get into things resulting in hurting himself. He WILL eat socks, whole requiring emergency surgery, Rajah is not recommend with other dogs or cats. VERY important he is an only pet. He's never been around children but generally doesn't acknowledge our infant.

Story
Lily, a Boxer mix puppy, was born January 4, 2025.  She and her litter mates are happy, active, playful puppies.  They are currently getting lots of love in their foster home while we learn about their individual personalities.  These puppies are playful, happy, and smart; they are picking up potty training, kenneling, and they are even sleeping through the night! Lily is the perfect introvert/extrovert mix. She is great with other dogs, but is able to be fully entertained all on her own. She would do fine as an only dog or as a playmate to a resident dog.  Applications are currently being accepted. The suggested adoption fee for Lily is 415.  Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##2318918##
