Story
Meet Latte! She’s a beautiful red brindle girl born on 8/30/24. She currently weighs about 10 lbs. Her mom was a 45 lb purebred Boxer and Dad was a 40 lb Boxer/Min Pin/Dachshund mix. She was surrendered to us by a local family who wanted to do what’s best for her. She’s a bit shy at first, but gaining confidence everyday. She is doing great in her foster home with other dogs and kids. She’s working hard on crate training and potty training. Her playful and loving personality is already starting to shine through. If you are ready for puppy breath and puppy training, don’t miss out on this sweet baby!!! She’s ready to learn, grow, and bring plenty of joy to your home. Latte is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, on preventives, dewormed, and will be spayed at one of our partner vets when age appropriate. Her adoption donation fee is $415. Please apply directly on our website in the drop-down menu at  https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Story
Say hello to Ronan (b. 10/2021) a Boxer/Pit mix.  Ronan is a loving and sweet energetic pup.  He loves to play with his foster sister, but equally loves to cuddle up on the couch with her and his people afterwards. Ronan is a very happy/good natured pup - he always walks with a pep in his step and has the biggest smile on his face no matter what he is doing. He is high energy and does always realize his size.  He especially has a lot of energy when he's excited, but has been making great improvements with training. He knows some commands, sit, shake, and stay.  He's also been working on lay down. Let's find this sweet boy a place of his own!  The suggested adoption donation for Ronan is $375.  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization which means that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals.  In 2020 alone, we were able to provide animal Healthcare costing over $241,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  If this pet is not spayed or neutered at the time of adoption due to limited vetting availability, a voucher will be given to the adopter to take the pet to be altered at NHS free of charge. Alterations are REQUIRED for all Muddy Paws adoptions. The contract states the alter must be done within ONE month of the adoption date or adopter will be in breach of contract. Adopters are required to provide proof of alter to Muddy Paws Rescue immediately after the procedure is complete. Thank you in advance for your compliance. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.  To learn about Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page.  ##1246012##

Story
Diesel (10/30/2018) a Boxer/Corgi mix.  Diesel has a heart as big as his paws.  He loves to lounge in the sun while watching the bunnies and birds.  He thinks he is part of the neighborhood watch monitoring everything going on.  He loves to run around the backyard.  He would be best as the only dog in the home.  He loves to be a part of the family and is amazing with kids.  In his spare time, he will steal your water bottle, go on walks, napping, snoring and playing with his squeaker toys.  Diesel is laid-back and will lay all over your bed, and get all the cuddles.  Can you provide Diesel with his furever home and lots of belly rubs? The suggested adoption donation for Diesel is $375, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Story
Holly is a sweet gal with lovable puppy energy!  She is a Boxer mix, born June 2023.  She is both potty and kennel trained; and does well on a leash for walks!  She loves people and dogs (unsure about cats) and can’t get enough play time.  Her favorite activities include: walks, being the neighborhood watch-dog through the window, playing with her people and dogs, and some cuddles when she’s tired enough to do so.  Holly is about 60 pounds, but thinks she’s a lap dog. She is a sweet as can be and is ready for her fur-ever home!  The suggested adoption donation for Holly is $400, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).
