You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Do you have tennis balls, like a lot of them, if not will you buy some? If your answer is yes than you might be the home for me! See I am simple girl but I do require lots of tennis balls!! I like other toys but nothing gets me as excited as having tennis balls! My foster says I am just a happy gal, that is good with all people even kiddos! I am house broken, but I may have had a couple accidents but I am still recovering from taking care of my 5 babies for the last several weeks. They all have found their forever homes and now it’s my turn. I was a great mom but my foster promised I never ever have to do it again, which sounds perfect to me! I really love my foster home. See, I also get alone time and have my own room, I have adults and kids who play fetch with me a few times a day. They all helped me get better on the leash, to come when I was called, I am actually even starting to learn how to settle down and watch TV. I would probably like to stay here but they have some big dogs here, I just don’t like when they get in my way. My foster thinks I will much prefer to be the only dog in a home.  I think that is true at least to start. The cats here don’t bother me. Did I mention my NEED for tennis balls, oh I did, okay. Well that’s all for now. Let lastdaydogrescue.org know if you want to meet me by filling out an application. Click here to watch a video of Pu Litter Eevee (Mom) - ADOPTION PENDING.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. May 12, 2026, 10:37 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. **UPDATE**     Blaze is a ball of energy and a cuddle bug! On the go 24/7 and would be great in a home with lots of exercise and a big backyard to run and play. Due to his past, he is animal reactive and needs training and someone patient to work with him. His loves his canine brother and sister but will need supervised and slow introductions to any new dogs. He needs to be in a home with teens and up. He is a puppy always ready for a walk! He loves his toys and treats. His ball is his favorite toy! Blaze was found in freezing temps in the park, underweight and cold. He is around 9 months old. If you are an early bird, he is for you. Ready for zoomies and walks as soon as he is up and always ready to be active. Loves toys, treats, and attention. Best for kids 12 and up due to being hyper and jumping. Blaze is a smart boy and has already learned to sit within a week. He loves to cuddle with his fur siblings and play all day. Did I mention he loves to talk?! He has separation anxiety and a little bit of fear anxiety and will do well with a patient family who will have the time to spend with him and mostly be home or with him. Car rides can still be scary for him, so giving him short rides to get him used to it is helping. He is a jumper, so a fence in yard is preferable. He will be your shadow and give you lots of love!   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
Pluto is a 3-year-old pit/lab mix, about 80 pounds, with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s house trained, very smart, and good at communicating when he needs to go outside by standing at the door. He enjoys walks, being around his people, and has lived peacefully with two cats.He has skin allergies that are managed with daily cetirizine and a chicken-free sensitive skin/stomach diet. He also takes Prozac daily for anxiety, which has helped him a lot. Earlier on he struggled with some food/toy guarding behaviors, but he’s done very well with routine, structure, and consistency. With a new baby in the home, I want to make sure he can have the calm, stable environment he does best in and receive the time and attention he deserves. I’m looking for a loving home with someone experienced with larger dogs who can continue giving him patience and consistency. He’s loyal, affectionate, goofy, and very emotionally sensitive once he bonds with you.
