Story
Meet this incredible survivor! Found in Tipton County, this sweet boy was skin and bones, hairless, and overlooked by so many. We couldn’t leave him behind, and he’s come so far—from 17 to 36 lbs! With love, warmth, and plenty of food, his personality has blossomed. He adores other dogs, all people, his crate, and especially toys and sweaters. He’s house-trained, food-motivated, and ready for his forever home. Could it be with you? Once adopted he will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this cutie part of your family please follow the link below to our adoption application. Our turnaround time is typically less than 24 hours so please be prepared before you submit your application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Fletcher is a smart, sweet boy who’s ready to find his forever home. He came to BHS with limited history, but he`s already shown us how clever and eager to learn he is, especially when treats are involved! Fletcher is looking for a home where he can be the only pup, at least for now. We are using good judgement with introductions to cats and recommend ample space and a dog`s day out to ensure a match! Fletcher would like children to be old enough to respect his space and understand he`s adjusting to a big change. Fletcher thrives with structure and activity, so he’ll do best in a home that can keep him mentally and physically engaged. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion, Fletcher may be the one for you!

Mia is 9 wieghs 130 has been with this family since she was 1. Shes been around both dogs and cats , it needs supervison and i wldnt leave her alone with cats or dogs until at least 6 months of solid establishment. Mia is very smart and goes potty on a tie out. The last 5 yrs shes been somewhat confined to a small apartment , city life. She goes to the dog park w penny who is like her sister a 18 lbs pug mix. She also has lived with cats. She is shy and stand off ish at first , but ultimetly wants attention and love. She knows tricks ,loves rides in the car, toys treats. I hope to find somone who has had pitts before and understands the breed and loves them. Willing to fix her for new parent.
