Story
My name is Walt! I’m very outgoing and love people. I need some help with my manners as I’m very bouncy but I can learn quickly! I’ve been through a lot in my life so I need the right introductions to other dogs. Also I like dogs that are more relaxed, too much energy scares me! I also snort a lot!

Story
Meet Rooney! This dude loves nothing more than fun, playing, and socializing with people and other dogs! He's a smart as a whip and picks up on stuff very quickly! He enjoys training and loves to show off his little prance when he gets something right! Rooney has been working on his leash manners, learning to sit (Which he is now a master at!), learning auto-sit to help keep his handler engagement, and learning to keep his paws (And mouth) to himself! When meeting new people, he gets extremely excited and forgets his manners (He has baby brain, what can he say!?) Rooney wouldn't mind meeting future dog siblings. He is although no cats due to chasing them in the previous home. As for kids, Rough and tumble kids would be best suited for this high energy guy, though. When he gets the zoomies, he may accidentally take a kid down, he has no body awareness he also likes to sit on them and at 68lbs that could hurt a little one! Rooney also is in need of a home where someone is always with him, he can go to work with them etc. He has separation anxiety and is destructive when unsupervised, but luckily Rooney loves to ride and go on adventures. Come on down with the whole family (Including future dog siblings) to meet Rooney!

Story
Seal is looking for a family that loves the great outdoors and playing fetch. He is a social, high energy bouncy boy that could use some more one on one training such as heel and no jumping. Because of this Seal is no kids under the age of 10. He loves other dogs; his play style is rough and tumble and not afraid to get some dirt/ mud on him. Seal's ideal forever home would be a family that is always on the go, willing to train him, and he kindly asks NO CATS in the home! If you are interested in meeting this super springy, bubbly, smiley boy please come to KVHS during opening hours, don't forget to bring all family members including dogs!

Story
Meet Pebbles! This girl is very sweet, kind and will follow you like a shadow once she is comfortable with you. She can be very shy and timid at the first hello. While Pebbles was in foster care, she did very well with cats as well as chickens. Sometimes she does get excited though and will bark/ chase at them. But with a good introduction and time she will respect their personal space and boundaries. Pebbles recently lived with 3 other dogs and did well with a rowdy energetic pup in foster. Her play style can be rough and tumble and she is VERY vocal when she plays! We are highly recommending dog savvy kids or no kids under the age of 5 because of her timidness of meeting new people. She is completely house trained, has good name recall while outside, knows sit and is a pro cuddle bug on the couch. If you are interested in Pebbles please come to KVHS during opening hours, don't forget to bring in all family members as well as canines! * Please note due to kennel space up front, Pebbles is placed out back please ask for her.
