Story
🐰 Meet Bunny! 🐰 This shy little lady might take a little time to warm up, but once she does, you’ll see a burst of energy and love like you’ve never seen before! Just like a bunny in the spring, she’s got a ton of playful energy waiting to hop out once she feels comfortable and safe. 🐇🌸 Bunny came to our shelter as a stray, found running loose outside a gym. She’s calm and loving at heart, but with a little patience, you’ll see that she’s got so much fun and joy to offer. Cuddles are her thing, and once she trusts you, she’ll be your loyal sidekick—whether you’re lounging on the couch or playing in the yard. 🐾 With Easter just around the corner, it feels like the perfect time for Bunny to start hopping into her new home, ready to fill it with love and energy. Her short, gray-and-white coat and squishy face make her absolutely adorable, and we just know she’s going to make a wonderful, loyal companion for the right person! 🐇💕 Come meet Bunny today—she’s waiting to bloom into the playful, affectionate dog we know she is! 🌼

Story
Sonny weights 73 lbs. and is 2.5 years young. He reacts strongly to foods (possibly other things) and therefore requires two baths/week with a medicated shampoo (only one kind will work) and vet. prescribed foods and medication. As far as a home goes - he is a big dog who may or may not like to be in a home with or without other animals. He is large and bossy and noses other animals so small animals will get touchy. He knows how to be gentle and requires strong training and kind leadership. He's very open to learning. He's part red healer and so very cautious; multiple visits will be necessary. Hound and is very nosy. Lab and he loves to swim and fetch! He is overall friendly, adoring and playful. He has shown resource guarding and fear aggression with other dogs. He prefers quite and peaceful surroundings. He does like his kennel very much and plays well independently. He is destructive when left alone outside of his kennel.

Story
Say hello to Jessie — the sweetest snugglebug you’ll ever meet!At 2 years old and 50 lbs, Jessie is the perfect size for both couch cuddles and fun outdoor adventures. This adorable Boxer mix has the best manners — she’s fully house and crate trained, walks like a dream on leash, and knows how to respect your space (no jumping, no barreling into you like a freight train). But don’t let her polite behavior fool you — Jessie’s heart is full of love and her tail never stops wagging. She’s fantastic with kids, great with other dogs, and even friendly with cats. Whether your home is calm and quiet or full of activity, Jessie is ready to fit right in.Her absolute favorite thing? Snuggling up with her people. Jessie’s the kind of pup who will curl up beside you for a movie marathon, lay her head in your lap when you’ve had a tough day, and happily follow you from room to room just to be near you.If you’ve been searching for a gentle-hearted, family-friendly, cuddle-loving pup to complete your pack, Jessie is ready to be your new best friend!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 5, 2025, 11:29 am

I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
