Story
Jackson is a handsome 7-year-old boy and weighs 80-ish lbs. Because he is a larger love bug who doesn't know his size, he would do best in a home with teenage children. Although Jackson is deaf, he is VERY trainable and has responded well to learning hand signals with his foster mom. He has laser focus whenever his toys or treats are involved. He is very snuggly-and likes to think he's a lap dog, despite his size! Jackson is potty trained, neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter, and are a foster-home based organization. Other than meeting our babies at events, we do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.

Story
Hi there, I’m Bonnie! I’m a 1-year-old Boxer mix with a heart full of love and sweetness! I’m a gentle, affectionate mama dog who just wants to be by your side and soak up all the attention. I walk *excellent* on a leash and I always respond well when I’m called—I`m a good listener! I do struggle with some separation anxiety, so I’d do best in a home where I have company all day or with someone who’s willing to work with me to overcome it. I get along great with other dogs and I love every person I meet! If you`re looking for a loving companion who thrives with attention and care, I’d be so happy to be your best friend! Currently, I am available for adoption. If you`re interested in Haley, please fill out an application online or call the Humane Society at 770-887-6480. Our adoption hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11-5 and Friday and Saturday 1-5. All my love and happiness, Bonnie /(^.^)\",AVAILABLE"

Story
What's not to love about me? I'm a cute, petite, super snuggler and I heard a guy named Rick wrote a song about me!!! I'm Jessie Girl. They say I'm a boxer mix, but I'm not even 40 pounds. Fommy thinks I might have some Boston terrier in me, which would explain a few things. I love the other dogs in my foster home, but I would not be good on a farm. Little critters trigger my "chase" drive, so please do not bring cats or rabbits.   I'm a super snuggler who loves to be under the covers - and that's any covers; I'm not picky, but I especially love to be under yours so I can be all warm and cozy. I'm house-trained and crate-trained, but I don't walk nicely on a leash. However, with lots of patience and training, you can teach me. You see, I'm pretty unruly on walks and even scream when overexcited, so teaching me how to redirect and refocus would be our number one priority. But a home with a nice, secure, tall fence will be great. That way, I won't get the leash crazies. I'm just a simple family girl out here looking for her forever life. If that might be you, let's meet to see!       For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Please ensure you understand those restrictions prior to choosing a dog. We verify rental policies and adhere to any restrictions.           January 15, 2025, 8:10 pm

Story
So many famous Admirals in history, but first and foremost is me - I'm a famous Admiral! Meet Admiral, a neutered 11-year-old (12/13/2013) super energetic Boxer/Mountain Cur mix. He is lean and athletic and loves running and could probably command a naval fleet if needed.  Admiral will make the perfect companion for an active family.    Admiral is house and crate-trained and comes with a special escape-proof crate.  As a famous Admiral, he does need a fenced yard to run off his excess energy.  And a dog companion who likes to play and is around Admiral's size makes it easy to help this energetic guy settle down Admiral loves other dogs, playing, wrestling, chasing, and being chased. This handsome senior guy is ready for his own home where he gets lots of attention, play, and just being active! Just look at that goofy smile. Apply to adopt Admiral at the website shown below:     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found at http://www.angelsrescue.org/pet-forms/dog-adoption-app.asp and can be submitted online. Story
My wife and I adopted Goose in August 2023 when I was working from home and wanted another friend in the house. Since moving December of that year, and changing jobs, he has shown his true pitty nature and started destroying our house. We simply do not have the time and attention to give him that he deserves anymore. We both work 12-14 hour days, and I absolutely cannot crate my dog for that long. That’s inhumane. He is literally the sweetest dog I have ever owned. He has so much love to give and we’ve done the best we can, unfortunately for us, it seems like it’s not enough. I love this boy to death, but I know there is someone out there who can give my 3 year old boy the attention he needs.
