She loves the children at her boarding facility and wants very much to be one of the family. Lady is a nice size, just 50 lbs. and very adoptable. Lady loves treats and will gladly give affection. This beautiful Boxer mix is Poppy! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 11/4, and no one has come to reclaim her. Poppy is now keeping her paws crossed for a new forever home where she will be loved and kept safe so that she never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Poppy and describe her as friendly and sweet, but initially a little shy. This is probably due to the loud, overwhelming shelter environment. We're sure once she's in a loving home, her personality will really shine! Poppy is attentive to the people around her and does know how to sit nicely when asked. It appears she has had puppies in the past, but she'll soon be taking the "no more puppies" pledge. If Poppy sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet her today! Poppy is approximately 2 years old, and she weighs 43 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Milo is a super sweet pit bull who is very friendly and loves to cuddle. We picked him up as a stray and have been caring for him for around a year now and we believe he is around 2 years old. He is potty trained and understands basic commands like sit, lie down, and stay. He is also really good with children and loves to play. He does have some stubborn mange that we can't seem to get rid of but he has no other health issues that we know of. My family is unable to take care of him anymore but he is a good dog and deserves a good home.
