Story
Hi my name is Reef, but I also respond to Beef or the noise of my treat jar opening 😊. I had an Embark test done which is shown on slide 3. He is adoptable through Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter! He is genuinely a silly little guy with moderate-high amounts of energy. Because of his breeds you can understand some of the behavior he has shown so far. We have made great progress with him on his mouthing, listening, and other behaviors associated with puppies and his breeds. He attends weekly training for these behaviors. He is EXCELLENT at sit, wait, lay down, go to bed, and many other commands. He cannot be around small animals or small children under 16. He does best with positive reinforcement and strict schedules. He lives with a patient 5 year old 70lb Staffy and plays in daycare at Pawtropolis East, so you can bring him to daycare once adopted! 706-795-2868Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200. Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip). For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com. We are located at:1888 Colbert Danielsville Rd Danielsville, GA 30633 706-795-2868NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption. If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.

Franklin is a stunning 62-pound bundle of relaxation and charm. With a coat that gleams and eyes that light up at the sight of you, he’s impossible not to fall for. This big guy has a gentle nature and excels at reading the body language of his canine companions, making him a great friend to his kennel mates. When Franklin first arrived at the shelter, he was a bit shy, but he’s been making strides and warming up to his new surroundings. He’s found that having another dog around helps him come out of his shell and feel more confident. If you’re looking for a laid-back, loving companion who’s ready to shine with you, come meet Franklin. He’s waiting for a home where he can continue to grow and share his wonderful personality. Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. Story
Could this cutie pie be YOUR Honey Bee?   Honey Bee is excited to show you her resilience after having a rough start in life. Her parents were evicted from their home, and she found herself living at the shelter in Hall County. The volunteers there loved her so much and they helped her get to rescue, and a staff member there even fostered her! Honey Bee is definitely potty trained, gets the biggest zoomies, and loves to run in circles with a toy in her mouth. She knows "sit," she is good on a leash (after she's been allowed to exert some energy), and she LOVES to play fetch - usually bringing the ball back, but sometimes getting so excited that she forgets. Honey  Bee enjoyes basking in the sunshine and rolling in the grass- just getting to be a dog. She desperately wants a lap to crawl in and a face to kiss. She is a perfect "pocket pittie" size at ~40 lbs.  Honey Bee is so sweet, intuitive, and intelligent. She is undergoing heartworm treatment. She prefers to share her home with humans only.  Please open your heart to Honey Bee and show her what a committed, loving family is - we want to make sure no one ever lets her down again.  ##2193210##

Story
Teechee is named after the Cateechee Golf Course where she was found as a stray. The staff of the golf course made sure she was fed and tried to find her owners. When no one came forward, we knew we had to get her to safety. Teechee loves other dogs and will climb a fence to get to a playmate in the next yard. She is gentle and shows love to anyone who is kind to her. While she is quite strong, she is learning to walk calmly on a leash. One of our caring volunteers took Teechee to training classes at our local PetSmart. She is now an obedience school graduate! If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion, Teechee is your girl. ##1865896##
