Story
We are looking to rehome our almost 8-year-old male boxer, who has been a cherished part of our family but now needs a home that can better meet his specific needs. As a puppy, he was sweet and playful, but as he matured, he began exhibiting dominant behaviors, particularly toward our other male dog. He required surgery for undescended testicles, and although this helped, some aggressive tendencies remain, especially outside the home.At home, he is affectionate, playful, and loves to cuddle. However, he has shown aggression toward other dogs and certain people. While he has never bitten anyone, he has snapped at others, including our toddler, and attacked other dogs. For these reasons, he cannot be placed in a home with children, other dogs, or xxxx@xxxx.x is very protective and struggles in public settings, particularly around unfamiliar animals and people. While we believe his behavior could improve with the right training, we are unable to provide the resources he needs.

Story
Arizona is a large chestnut brindle LOVER with extraordinary ears who is so ready to go home with the perfect family for her. Her ideal family is active, loving and experienced with high-energy dogs. Arizona loves walking, running, playing, swimming and go, go, going with her favorite humans. She thrives in a well structured environment with a solid routine. She is sweet, affectionate, a great listener and gives the best kisses. Arizona is the longest resident dog at HES, but in all of her time here she has gotten to learn so many new skills and tricks while she waits for the right family for her. She is now the most classically obedient dog around. She will gladly show off how she can sit, stay, down, heel, go to bed and shake hands. She is amazing on a leash and loves to play with discs and Jolly Balls. She is house broken, does well in a crate and enjoys car rides. She's great at learning new tricks too so we hope you are ready for some fun! This sweet baby girl needs extra training and tlc when meeting new people and controlling her reactivity. She doesn't love strangers and isn't a fan of eye contact from people she doesn't know. She can get vocal when she's scared. Arizona can do great with other dogs, as long as they are the right fit for her fun loving, outspoken, rowdy play style. No cats or children please. To make sure that Arizona's transition to her forever home is smooth sailing Dog Wizard of Chattanooga will offer free training classes for her and her forever family.

Story
Trixie is 7 years old but she has more spunk and energy than a lot of pups half her age. She is always excited about meeting people, making friends, and getting lots of love. She is a strong, energetic girl who would probably enjoy a home where she gets lots of physical and mental exercise. She is most definitely housebroken and she appreciates having a crate as her safe space when by herself. Time spent with someone is her favorite. Trixie loves playing with plush toys and interacting with her person while playing. She will sit for treats and takes them gently.
