Name: Gertie aka Gordita
Breed: Boxer Mix
Gender/Age/Weight: Female/DOB 10/2024/20lbs and growing
Vetting: Up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventatives
House trained/crate trained: Fully crate trained. I'm still working on house training
Dogs/Cats/Children: Gertie gets along with dogs, cats, and rabbits. She has not been observed around children, but can be tested upon request.
Energy Level: Gertie has typical go-go puppy energy, but she also loves to nap hard
History/Before FAR: Gertie's history before FAR is unknown, as she was found as a 6-week old puppy.
Training Status/Commands I Know: Gertie knows “crate”, “sit”, and “make better choices”. She is familiar with squirt bottle and leash foundations
Working on: Gertie is working on house training, manners, and leash work
Things I like: Treats, toys, shoes (will steal them off of feet!), playing in the water, playing with other dogs, cuddles, playing under the covers, and hanging with my person
Things I don’t like: The word no and the squirt bottle
Things that make my humans happy: the cuddles and my happy go lucky attitude
Ideal Home: A home that has another dog(s) to play with and a human who likes to cuddle
