Story
Jackson is a handsome 7-year-old boy and weighs 80-ish lbs. Because he is a larger love bug who doesn't know his size, he would do best in a home with teenage children. Although Jackson is deaf, he is VERY trainable and has responded well to learning hand signals with his foster mom. He has laser focus whenever his toys or treats are involved. He is very snuggly-and likes to think he's a lap dog, despite his size! Jackson is potty trained, neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter, and are a foster-home based organization. Other than meeting our babies at events, we do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.

Story
Home for the Holidays - Reduced Fee if Adopted by January 10th!   What's not to love about me? I'm a cute, petite, super snuggler and I heard a guy named Rick wrote a song about me!!! I'm Jessie Girl. They say I'm a boxer mix, but I'm not even 40 pounds. Fommy thinks I might have some Boston terrier in me, which would explain a few things. I love the other dogs in my foster home, but I would not be good on a farm. Little critters trigger my "chase" drive, so please do not bring cats or rabbits.   I'm a super snuggler who loves to be under the covers - and that's any covers; I'm not picky, but I especially love to be under yours so I can be all warm and cozy. I'm house-trained and crate-trained, but I don't walk nicely on a leash. However, with lots of patience and training, you can teach me. You see, I'm pretty unruly on walks and even scream when overexcited, so teaching me how to redirect and refocus would be our number one priority. But a home with a nice, secure, tall fence will be great. That way, I won't get the leash crazies. I'm just a simple family girl out here looking for her forever life. If that might be you, let's meet to see!       For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.     Home for the Holidays - Reduced Adoption Fees if Adopted by January 10th !  So many famous Admirals in history, but first and foremost is me - I'm a famous Admiral! Meet Admiral, a neutered 11-year-old (12/13/2013) super energetic Boxer/Mountain Cur mix. He is lean and athletic and loves running and could probably command a naval fleet if needed.  Admiral will make the perfect companion for an active family.    Admiral is house and crate-trained and comes with a special escape-proof crate.  As a famous Admiral, he does need a fenced yard to run off his excess energy.  And a dog companion who likes to play and is around Admiral's size makes it easy to help this energetic guy settle down Admiral loves other dogs, playing, wrestling, chasing, and being chased. This handsome senior guy is ready for his own home where he gets lots of attention, play, and just being active! Just look at that goofy smile. Story
Hi, I’m Pistol Pete, my fosters call me Petey, I’m a strong, healthy, playful, boy that likes to play, run, fetch and am full of energy. I am just one years old, and hoping to find my forever home. I would love a fenced in yard, so I can play and sometimes just enjoy laying in the sunshine. I get along with other dogs, children, and I do well out and about on the town meeting new people and friends.    I might be a tripod, but I don’t know it, I have no problems with stairs or jumping into your lap if you’d like me to. I’m a loving, cuddly boy and I’m a fast learner, as you can see, I’m quite the handsome boy as well! Oh, and I absolutely love care rides.    Please consider adopting  me as I would be a loyal, fun and loving companion. Story
ROSS ~~ Boxer Mix, Fawn and White, Neutered Male, 68 pounds, Birthdate: 12/27/2021 This boy has never met a stranger and loves everyone! Are you a dog lover looking for that special “ride or die” dog to love? Come meet Ross and see if he checks off all the boxes. Ross is looking for his forever person.... someone who "gets him" and can't live without him. Is that you? He may also do well in a home with other large, friendly and non-aggressive dogs. FAVORITE #1 THING IN THE WORLD: Ross absolutely loses his mind when you play fetch with him. He loves to chase the ball and brings it back to anyone who will play with him! FUN FACTS: Ross is intelligent, playful, and curious about his surroundings. He enjoys learning new things and would do best with an active couple, single person or family with older kids. He may not be the best candidate with small kids ~~ he may jump up on them in excitement. However, with a little practice and training, he could learn not to do this. ENERGY LEVEL: Ross is an energetic, fun-loving, playful and goofy guy who would love a fenced backyard to run around in. Do you have some cool toys, like to go for hikes or go running? Even better! Ross is food/treat motivated and would love to be with you wherever you go! Ross would also be a great boy for movie marathons on the couch after playing some fetch. OTHER PETS: Ross may also do well in a home with other large, friendly and non-aggressive dogs. We always suggest a meeting of other dogs prior to adoption to ensure a smooth transition to a new home. Ross WILL NOT do well in a home with cats or small dogs. ADOPTION FEE: $130. His adoption fee includes one month of Simparica Trio (for heartworms, fleas, ticks, and intestinal parasites). HEALTH/MEDICAL: He's current on vet services, vaccines, is microchipped, neutered, and has a negative heartworm and fecal test. COME MEET ROSS AT Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM. Saturday & Sunday 8AM to 4PM. Closed on all major holidays. Visit at least two hours prior to closing. No appointment is needed.

Story
I got Bella from the Pet Alliance in Orlando, FL in 2017. She was born in 2016. I have all her previous adoption paperwork and full shot records to date. She has only ever needed 1 vet visit per year (each February). She is very healthy and allows owner to cut nails and bathe. Shes very affection motivated. I was told when I adopted her that she would be a one dog home situation, however a few years ago I had a partner that had a dog (you can see in the 3rd photo) and we forced them to meet. It turned out great. However, she doesnt do well at dog parks. She is a very protective dog, however if I had friends come over and we did a very gentle meet and greet, she could become comfortable and remember certain people for future visits. She needs easy adjustment. She loves being with her people, but if another stray dog comes around she will get upset. I would suggest a home with owners that are aware of dog temperament and have had previous dogs. She knows basic commands.

Story
This little donkey is really a dog. He’s stout and he’s sweet, and he’d be up for a jog. Patient and kind, with a face like a dove. Yes, this little donkey is ready for love. So, open your heart for this smooshable face, for this little donkey needs a new place! Semi is top dog when it comes to cuddles. I really really love my sister Smoochie. I am a big fan of cookies and treats; however, they need to be made without chicken as I am allergic! Give me all the beef! I can be a little scared when there are too many people running around me and would love a home with older people so I can be safe. I love going on walks and can spend hours outside with you doing just that. I am also a little warrior and survived Lymphoma in 2017. Cancer free baby! I’m looking for my perfect furrever home. Is that you?I am currently being fostered with my sister, Smoochie 1404-22. If you would like to meet me, you will have to meet my sister as well as we are a bonded pair. Please call the Animal Shelter at 678-965-7185 or send an email to adoptions@forsythco.com to set up an appointment for a meet and greet.

Story
Hi! My name is Smoochie, and the thing I love most about this world are my tennis balls. I may be 9 years-old, but I am still young at heart. I love to go for walks and play fetch with said tennis balls. I also really really love my brother Semi. I am a big fan of cookies and treats; however, I can be a little scared when there are too many people running around me and would love a home with older people so I can be safe. I am also scared of fireworks and thunder; they are just so loud and scary! I do well with my brother, but I have not really had a chance to meet any other of my fellow furry friends. If you’re looking for a dog that’ll win you gold medal at fetch tournaments, I’m your girl!I am currently being fostered with my brother Semi 1405-22. If you would like to meet me you will have to meet my brother as well as we are a bonded pair. Please call the Animal Shelter at 678-965-7185 or send an email to adoptions@forsythco.com to set up an appointment for a meet and greet.
