I have had Bruce since he was 6 weeks. He has been professionally trained. He will be great to the right owner who has experience working with dogs. He is well loved here, however, we have a young baby and we cannot expect the baby to know how to properly handle him and we are nervous for her safety as he does have some aggression concerns if not properly handled. New owner must have a lot of experience and no young children. He has a lot of energy and usually gets along great with other dogs. Loves playing fetch, taking long walks/jogs, and being very active.

Carrie is approx. 2 years old and 40 pounds. Kelly came from a rural NC shelter when she was just 3 months old. She has now been in rescue for almost 2 years. She is still very skittish and Leary of people. Therefore, she will need a very patient adopter. Carrie is also available to be fostered. Carrie is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Please keep in mind that our dogs are shelter dogs. We have little if any information about their prior history. We can only tell you what we have witnessed since coming in to the rescue. Please be patient and prepared to train / retrain your new family member. Our pets need time to decompress once they are in a new home. if you have not heard of the 333 Rule, please google it. It will help you understand what your new rescue dog is going through. WE DO NOT HAVE CATS. THEREFORE WE CAN NOT TELL YOU IF ANY OF OUR PUPS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH CATS. KENDALL is a very happy boy! Somewhat shy at first, he come around for treats and his tail is always wagging! He arrived at our shelter with 2 other dogs so we know he enjoys having canine companionship. At a recent playdate, he enjoyed the other dogs, both larger and small, and was fine with the cat and adored the children there. He appears to be house trained as well.
