It is impossible not to smile around this boy, anything and everything makes him so happy and brings out his big smile (and will likely bring yours out too)! Barney has a wide range of facial expressions, from a silly grin to goofy looks to his trademark big HAPPY smile! He has a funny way of letting his tongue hang out sideways, has crazy zoomies that will leave you giggling, and loves giving kisses! He’s great with other dogs and kids, and is very curious about kitties! Barney has the zoomies when first brought out, but chills out until you tell him he’s a pretty boy … and then he’s all tail wags and happy hops again! Barney is pretty good on a leash, and even though he pulls a little bit, he will follow your lead. He is eager to go walking, meet new people, or basically to do anything that you want to do. Wendi is a one year old female Boxer mix, who has the cutest smile ever! She is quiet and low key while in her cage, which sadly makes it easy for her to be overlooked as potential adopters walk through her area. But once she is taken out on a leash, Wendi’s big smile and wiggles show just how happy she is to be taken on a walk with you! After her initial excitement of getting out, she calms down quickly and is good on a leash. We have noticed that she is way too interested in the feral cats at the shelter, so we feel a home without cats would suit her best. Wendi seems to be a little camera shy, because as soon as the camera came out during her “photo shoot”, she avoided looking directly at it! Still, the pictures show her adorable way of posing in a Down position, with her back legs fully sprawled out behind her. This sweet girl would be so happy in her furever home with people to love, lots of toys, and a nice soft bed. Topher is a male Boxer mix, who is about 10 months old. He is a “chonky” boy with adorable spots on his face and a stubby tail, making him the cutest hunk of a dog ever! He came in to the shelter with several siblings, and currently lives in the same pen with his sister Joan. Topher is the more outgoing sibling of the two, so he is the first to greet people who approach their pen. He is super sweet, friendly and LOVES getting attention from people. Topher just has so much love to give, and wants to share that with you! Joan is much more shy than her brother, and typically lets him greet people first when they approach their pen. Soft treats and gentle words will usually help Joan warm up to someone new. Most of all, this super sweet girl simply needs time to learn to trust a new person. And once she does, Joan will absolutely adore you! He is house broken, a cutie pie and a gentleman per the shelter. He is neutered and approx 43 lbs. He does pull on a leash a little so he needs to work on this with his new family. He will require a totally fenced yard., He is a sweet energetic boy who loves to chase a ball. He is crate trained. He loves carrots, fresh green beans, apple slices, and blue berries with his food. He is current on vaccines and is on Simparica Trio. He is not recommended with small children. He's a thief sometimes if he finds something interesting in the trash can. ##1651601##

Roger is a real looker and lover. He is very playful. He would do best with a fenced yard. Not sure how he is with cats. Their mom, Karen, is a beautiful girl that found herself and her babies heading to Clayton County Animal Control after being picked up as strays in a field. Roger is a very sweet playful dog. A fenced in yard is highly recommended especially if you have other dogs that enjoy playing or sunning outside. Please also check out my available brother Kevin and sister Noelle that are still looking for a forever home. Roger has Luxating Patella issues in both back knees. Our vet recommended that we re-check him in 2 to 3 months (went to vet in August) since his growth platelets aren't closed. ##1793403##

Noelle is a very playful and smart. She gets along well with other dogs. She loves toys. She is a water dog. She will stick whole face under water and blow bubbles. It is so funny to watch her. She is a year old boxer/terrier mix who weighs about 50 pounds. She would do great in a home with another young playful dog but ok as an only dog. She is shy around people at first. Once she warms up to you, she is a velcro dog. Her foster has a dog door which she loves and is house trained and crate trained. She listens to gentle *no*. Her face turns red through the white fur if she is nervous. If she is in a playful mood, she will attack the vacuum cleaner.
