***Mona is with a loving foster in Pennington, NJ.  She will be at our adoption event the weekend of 4/5 at Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ. With an approved application, she can be transported to New Jersey and available for adoption at our monthly adoption event at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes. An application for her adoption should be submitted on our website, socorescue.com (no need to "Register" or "Login". Questions pertaining to Mona and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the rescue's phone number.*** Mona is a goofy and  playful pup.  She loves affection and seems to be house trained and crate trained.  She is getting along well with our other foster pup. Mona loves stealing toys and chasing.  She is curious and confident, even tried out the puppy pool so may like water.  Mona meets other dogs enthusiastically and made friends on every playdate.  She would do great in an active home with love to give. Meet Mona:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxMl-hT5tqM  Mona's former owner left her at the home of an elderly disabled  woman despite knowing that she wasn't physically able to care for Mona.  While it put her own health and safety at risk, the senior-aged woman did all she could to keep Mona fed, watered, healthy and happy. After a friend of the disabled woman was made aware of the situation, she contacted our rescue seeking help in finding Mona a home, which we are more than happy to do. Since coming to SoCo Rescue, Mona has more than proven herself to be friendly towards all people and other dogs. She is a very energetic dog who loves to play and thoroughly enjoys time spent with people. While she's progressed well with learning a couple of basic commands, she will require additional training. She will make an excellent addition into a home with other dogs and/or children who are knowledgeable on how to handle a dog.  Mona has been spay and is up to date on all of her annual vaccinations, de-wormings and other such care. Zeke wandered onto a property malnourished and scared, and he has now been fostered back to good health! He is a good boy who interacts well with other dogs, loves to run, and enjoys human company. Zeke is smart, a quick learner and walks well on leash! He's also crate trained and knows commands like "sit"! Zeke is ready for a loving forever home where he won't have a care in the world.

Jet was pulled from Cordele just hours from euthanasia! We can't believe it. He is good with dogs, cats, kids, and just wants to lick them and give them all the love! He's a big baby. He is very curious about all animals and wants to play with them all. He is playful and energetic. Jet can be nervous about new things, but is a very happy puppy. He makes everyone laugh!

We're unsure as to how Hanns got his lip injury, but we have had it treated by the vet and he will always have a permanent snaggletooth which just makes him more adorable. Hanns has shown his sweet, playful, and goofy sides, but he has also shown he doesn't like to be separated by a fence from other dogs. He will start barking at them which we're working on at the rescue, but he can be out with all the dogs without issues. He's able to be out and play with other dogs throughout the day. This boy would do well in a home where he can be reassured he's safe, where he's loved, and he will need discipline to learn better fence manners. Don't let anything deter you from this baby. He's a bowlegged squat man with a unique face and tons of love to give.Once he puts on safe weight and is neutered, he will be ready to go to a forever home.
