Story
Hi there, I’m China! I’m a spirited and energetic girl looking for an active and patient home where I can thrive. Training classes will be a great way for me to learn even more and adjust to my new routine. When it comes to other dogs, I can be pushy, so I’ll need slow and respectful introductions to make sure we all get along. I already know how to sit, shake, and lie down—pretty impressive!

Story
Hey there, furiends! I`m Leo, and I`m so excited to meet you! I’ve been spending time in a wonderful foster home while recovering from two leg surgeries—don’t worry, I’m feeling great now! My foster family says I’m potty trained, enjoy going for walks and car rides, and I’m always ready to work for some tasty treats.I do get vocal when I see other dogs, so slow and proper introductions are really important for me. Sometimes, I can get mouthy when I’m excited, so training classes would be a great way for me to learn my best manners. I’m looking for an active, patient family who will help me be the best boy I can be. I promise to bring lots of love and energy into your life!If you`re interested in learning more about me or setting up a visit, please contact my foster mom, Heidi, at heshea27@gmail.com. Please allow up to 24 hours for Heidi to get back to you.

Story
Hi there! I'm Luna, a sweet and loving pup who's always ready for kisses, cuddles, and all the pets you can give! I adore spending time with my family and get along great with other dogs. I'm even friendly with cats, though I keep hoping they'll play with me one day! I'm independent but also a fan of attention, so if you're looking for a balance, I'm your girl. I can get anxious when I'm left alone, but I think having a confident doggy sibling would make all the difference. I do really well with other dogs and I even like cats! I've been raised in a home with humans of all ages, from infants to adults, and I've got the perfect temperament to match. My humans lovingly call me their “nanny dog” because I'm gentle, patient, and love to watch over my people. When it comes to playtime, fetch is my favorite! I'm really into durable, tough-chew toys—they keep me busy for hours! If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves to play but is also great at relaxing, I could be the perfect fit for your family. I would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time because I can get anxious when left alone and I love being with my humans. I'd do great with another confident dog. Cats are fine too! My adoption fee includes a training program specific to my needs.

Story
Meet Jackson! He is the perfect gentleman in his crate and has been the best boy with potty training! He had a small tinkle the first day, but has since been accident free! He is still a puppy and is currently going through his mouthing stage; we are working hard to redirect those sharp baby teeth! He responds well to correction, when needed, and he is in the early stages of learning the basic sit, down, and stay commands! This smart boy has so much love to give! Once we find the right family for him, they will have a lifelong member of their crew that will gladly be a couch potato or have all cylinders running in order to keep up with all your adventures! He is also amazing with kids, dogs, and people (if taken slow to warm up)! I think he would do best in a household that has a strong confident foundation so he knows he can't get away with any naughty behavior! ##2219529##

Story
Are you looking for a good running partner?  If so, Andi is your girl.  She is crate trained and is up for any adventure.  She loves her walks and gets oh so excited with visitors.  She is beautiful:  pure white coat with a bright blue and a brown eye to keep things interesting.  She walks well on leash and is not reactive.  Like many princesses, she can be kinda bitchy with dogs, but she does have her favorites.  When new people approach her kennel, she isn’t sure what to do and acts protective.  Once she gets to know you, she is playful and affectionate. November 2, 2024, 12:20 am

**LOCATED IN PUEBLO**Hi, I’m Piccolo! I’m full of energy and need plenty of daily exercise, toys, and mental challenges to keep me happy. I can be a bit pushy with other dogs, so I’ll need slow, supervised introductions. And when it comes to settling into a new home, I might need a little time to adjust. Let’s have some fun together!I am currently not at the shelter but am spending time in a loving foster home to decompress from shelter life. Please contact Piccolo`s foster mom, Jan, at jmwarner62@gmail.com to inquire about Piccolo or set up a visit. Please allow up to 24 hours for Jan to respond.

Story
Looking to rehome our dog Ranger. He is going to be 6 in November, adopted him when he was a puppy. He is a mix between boxer and retriever. He is fixed. Beautiful boy who loves to snuggle. Would love to rehome him to someone close by, who would keep us posted on his well being and would give him all the love and snuggles he deserves. He is an inside dog who also loves the outdoors and to sunbathe. Our boy Ranger has some behavioral issues with other animals and it’s required that he would be the only pet in the household. He was attacked multiple times at a young age and we think this is affecting him now. He should not get nose to nose with any other dog and be walked always on leash. He is very sweet, loves snuggles and pets all day, and very loyal. We will miss him dearly but we have had problems with him and our other dog wherein he is the instigator. He is potty trained, knows basic commands, etc. I can provide further details once in contact with whomever is interested.

Story
0321093 - Hi!  This sweet girl is Zoey (or "Zo Zo" as we call her in her foster home).  Zoey came to Colorado from New Mexico and is ready to find her forever home.  Zoey is a 4-5 year old boxer mix and weighs roughly 50lbs.  She is a very precious and sweet girl who loves affection, loves to give kisses and loves to get belly rubs.  She will follow you around the house to see what you are up to (and to be by your side).  She will also cuddle up next to you and let you love on her all day long!   Zoey is crate trained, potty trained, sleeps all night and likes to go on short leashed walks to take in the new sights and scents of Colorado.  She is also spayed and UTD on her vaccines.   Zoey has two foster doggy siblings.  Although they are all working on getting along, she is still a bit testy with them.  She may be happiest as an only dog, but if you have a mellow dog she may also do fine with a proper introduction to make sure that everyone gets along.  She has been introduced to her two kitty foster siblings, and doesn't show much interest so a home with cats would be fine.   Zoey would do best in calm environment where someone is home most of the day.  Zoey needs to be given the love and affection that she deserves and she promises to love and be grateful to you in return.   If you have the perfect home for this precious sweet pea, please fill out an adoption application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2083574##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Classic, sophisticated, and years of experience being a good girl, I'm Miracle! As a mature 10-year-old boxer/lab mix, I have many wonderful gifts for my new family. I hope you will read about me and give me the opportunity to meet you and show you how special I am. I am a graduate of a wonderful and comprehensive dog training program, where I learned all of my basic commands (and a few fancy ones, too) so I could be fully prepared to be the best girl I can be for my new home! I walk amazingly well on a leash, and I love checking out the neighborhood of my foster home with my foster sister, but I can also be 100% couch potato. I am fully crate trained and can sleep all night in my crate (full disclosure: my favorite spot is to sleep snuggled up to my 13-year-old human foster sister). My ideal home would be one with lots of love. I love attention, pets, snuggles. Keeping up with my amazing training skills is easy as I am very food motivated! I am currently fostered in a home with one other dog, and I have become BFF's with her. Through proper introductions, I get along well with other dogs. I love my foster sibling and would do well with another dog similar in size to me who also likes to wrestle and play (please check out my videos). I am a lover, not a barker, with such a sweet disposition that everyone loves. My ideal home can absolutely include older children, as I do love kids! Due to my lack of awareness of size, I could unintentionally knock over little ones. My foster home has a 13-year-old girl who lets me sleep on her bed, and I happily greet all her friends who come to visit! All her friends say I’m their favorite! All in all, I’m a very easygoing, happy girl who wants a family to call my own! If that sounds like you, I hope to meet you soon! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1174512##

Hi, I’m Boo Boo Bear! I’m a shy guy looking for a calm, quiet home where children will respect my space. Dogs make me nervous, so I’ll need slow, patient introductions. The staff has helped me build my confidence, but I’ll need your support to keep growing. I may take some time to adjust, but with love and patience, I’ll come out of my shell. Let me come to you first—I promise I’m worth the wait!
