You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rufus and Gracie appear to be siblings. They are very sweet and somewhat low-key.    If you are interested in adopting this dog, please complete an online application at www.cvrr.us Due to high demand  we anticipate multiple applications for each dog. Our volunteers will review each submitted application, then contact the top 3 most appropriate ones by either email or phone. Calling or emailing us to see if you are being considered will not expedite the process. If you have been selected for an interview we will contact you within 48 hours of submission. Thanks for your patience.  Many of our dogs can be seen at Petsmart in Visalia every other  Saturday between 10 and 2. Story
Oliver is a 3 year old Shepard mix, at least that's what his adoption papers said. He is a good dog and happy dog. He will follow you wherever you go. He does get separation anxiety at times and will lick tend to lick his paws. Oliver has not been around dogs, so introducing him to other dogs would be highly recommended. He is not afraid of loud noises, instead he barks and looks for the threat. He is a big baby and will try to climb onto your lap. He spends time both inside and outside the home and he will let you know when he needs to go outside. He does well on a leash, but tends to pull at times. He loves his squeeky toys but will destroy them in a matter of days. He knows how to sit and sometimes stay. He loves tug of war and will sometimes play fetch. I am hoping to find him a home that will love him as much as I do and will be able to provide a home that will give him space to run.

Oliver will be 4 in October and is a good boy. He is laid back and loves to cuddle. He also loves to run and play. He does need help with socializing. He does get excited around people and has to be reminded that not everyone loves being jumped on. Oliver would prefer to be an inside/outside dog.
