I'm trying to assist my daughter's boyfriend, Isaac, in rehoming his 4 year old Boxer, Macho. The family can no longer afford to keep him and care for him. He is up to date on his vaccines but is not neutered. He has been with the family since shortly after he was born. In the past year home dynamics have also changed. Isaac is now in school and working and both his parents work. Macho is in the backyard alone most of the day and night. This isolation in the past year has made him weary of other people and some animals. He is prone to growl or bark. Prior to this year that was not an issue. I didn't want to see the dog end up at a shelter and probably euthanized. I asked the family to give me some time to see what I could find and hopefully get a rescue or adoption done. Please advise if you can assist in any way. Thank you.

I am fostering him to prevent him from going to the pound but my dogs do not like him. He is extremely calm and non aggressive even when my dogs antagonized him. My sister passed away after a year long battle with cancer. My dog will not tolerate her two dogs I go. We have been struggling since August when my sister went to hospice care and I was her caregiver. She passed on October 18, 2024. We have two sister dogs Trouble and Tucker. We fostered them when they caught Distemper and were going to be put down. We nursed them hack to health and then my sister adopted them. Tucker is good with kids. Trouble is more sensitive and doesn't tolerate kids well. Both are sweet dogs who like to cuddle but have not had much discipline the last year or so. They will need training.
