Faith is a lovable boxer mix who has been waiting patiently for to find a home for over a year! Faith was pretty shy when she first arrived here, but she has come out of her shell and has become much more social! Faith recently went on an off-site field trip! She road well in the car and loved putting her feet in the creek! Faith has made dog friends at the shelter, and could potentially live with another dog pending a dog meet. Faith's adoption fee has been sponsored! If you think you might like to meet this lovely dog, please submit an adoption survey at chicoanimalshelter.org

Story
We got Walter from the Butte Humane Society in Chico, CA on 3/27/24. Although they estimated him to be just over two years old, the vet that examined him in April 2024 said he is just over one year old (est. birthdate: 1/31/23). He is in excellent health. He has been a fun pet to have--- he is playful, fully potty trained, knows many commands, loves car rides and walks in the neighborhood, and comes when he is called. He is microchipped, neutered, and in excellent health. He got along well with our other older (and larger) dog for the first six months, but recently he has started fights between them. The Humane Society subsequently advised us that he was previously aggressive with a smaller dog. We love Walter a lot, but realize he needs to be in a family without other dogs. He is friendly with all strangers inside and outside our home, including children, and he is playful with other dogs he sees outside. He can't seem to share the attention of his people with another dog in the home.

Story
Addie has such a positive view on life and loves people despite being abandoned. When she first arrived, she was very confused, and heart broken; she didn't understand where she was and why her family would abandon her. Despite all that Addie, has done a complete 180 and now is searching for her new forever home that will love her, all her life. She is a fun, funky, sweet & goofy girl. She can be a bit shy right at first, but she warms up very quickly. She is up for any adventure, at any time. She also doesn't mind staying home and cuddling. Not good with cats.  If you would like to open your heart and home to this amazing girl, please contact (530)-715-1545.January 1, 2025, 1:45 pm

Story
Meet Lola Bunny, a vibrant, adult dog with a heart full of energy. She is fiercely independent, always exploring her surroundings with unyielding curiosity. Her intelligence shines through in her ability to solve puzzles and challenges, often surprising those around her with her quick wit. Lola Bunny`s zest for life is infectious, making every day an adventure. Her independence does not overshadow her affectionate nature, as she enjoys the company of those who understand and appreciate her spirit. Lola Bunny should be adopted because she promises a life filled with laughter, adventure, and an unwavering companionship that only a dog of her caliber can provide. Because she likes her independence, we are recommending that any children in her new home are age 10 or older so they can understand her boundaries. She does not enjoy the company of other dogs, so she is required to be the only dog in her new home. She will also not be allowed to visit dog parks.Adoption Price: $250Monthly Promotion Applies
