Story
Hi, my name is Stella. I love going on walks, giving kisses and being around my people. I’m a very sweet and gentle girl who loves to play fetch! I am currently in a foster home which has helped my confidence so much! I`ve learned to use the crate, I`m not afraid of loud noises anymore, love other dogs, and LOVEEE kids. Here are some things my foster mom has to say:`Stella is a lovable companion. She enjoys cuddles, giving kisses, going for walks, and laying in the sunshine. She walks very well on a leash, likes to play fetch with a tennis ball, enjoys being active, but is also content to lay in her dogbed and chill. She does not have food aggression, doesn’t beg for food, and is gentle with objects around the house. She will make an excellent furry family member for anyone who wants a loving, kind-hearted soul and loves kisses!`If you`d like to meet me feel free to email our foster coordinator: ymota@chulavistaca.gov

Story
Tyson is a very happy go lucky dog.  He was pulled from Tijuana Animal Control February  2022.  He was very emaciated and very sick.  He weighed only 33 pounds at intake with us.  He has gained more than thirty pounds while in our care.  His tail had to be amputated as he had "Happy tail."  He could not stop wagging his tail and would break the tail open and spray blood all over everything by wagging it really hard and bumping itno things.  He is an amazing boy.  He loves adults, kids, other dogs, and just about everything.  He will be a wonderful addition to any family's home! ##1328861##

Story
My journey started as a stray darting in and out of traffic on a busy street and seeking cover in the adjacent riverbed.  I could be seen at night going house to house, looking for food and especially loved the yards with dogs.  Once humanely trapped, no owner came for me so here I am looking for my forever family.  I would do best with another confident dog in the home.  Once I trust I am incredibly sweet and eager to please.  I need someone willing to be patient and love me unconditionally while I adjust to my new environment.  I LOVE dogs and am high energy when it comes to play.  I prefer women and have a deep seated fear of men but with each adoption event I am slowly learning they are pretty cool!  I get to enjoy outings for pack walks but don't do well "sitting" in chaotic settings.  The noises, people and activity still scare me, even a year later.  Because of my Flight Risk I cannot be left unattended in a yard, crate training is a must when you are gone, tight grip on the leash is a must on adventures and my new family must be aware of open doors and windows.  I would love to find that person who will let me learn to trust, grow into their heart and let me be their new home body where I feel safe.  To adopt: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/37765/genericTo foster: https://petstablished.com/foster_form/37764/genericEmail: awayhomefordogs@gmail.com ##1339002##

Story
Enzo is a tender, affectionate and friendly boy but also shy. Calm and submissive temperament. He gets along perfectly with other dogs, cats and even children of all ages. Enzo is a low-activity dog who prefers to spend his time sleeping or just lying down. It is the ideal companion to spend long moments of peace. It is not noisy; He barks little and does not howl. He may be shy at first but once he gains confidence you will meet a very sweet dog who will follow you everywhere. He loves eating treats, taking naps in the sun, taking quiet walks, and cuddling with each other. It is not destructive or bite things. You can put clothes on him or leave him with a harness without problem. He knows how to sit, wait for his food and walk on a leash. He has experience living with other dogs of different ages and sizes, both females and males, and with cats. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

Story
Meet Abby! This beautiful 7-month-old, 28-pound princess is truly the most adorable and cute little girl you'll ever meet. She is a little survivor of 12, her mom was abandoned and at one day old, Abby and her 11 siblings were left in a box in the middle of nowhere with no shade. When we came for them after receiving a report from a neighbor of the owner, there were only 5 babies left alive, and we found the rest already dead inside a plastic bag with a knot in it. Abby grew up happy with her litter, they are very active and loving little ones. She is learning to walk on her leash, lives well with dogs and cats and is the most chubby of her litter. She is the smiliest and is very intelligent. It would be ideal for her to grow up in a home with children, she likes walks and although she is a little shy at first, she usually comes out of her shell quickly.

Story
Hi, I`m Foxy! I just recently went into a foster home after being in the shelter for what felt like forever. I am hoping this will help me find my forever home a bit faster. Over the past couple of days my foster mom has learned so much about me. I am fully potty trained, super gentle and an excellent cuddler. I am also extremely smart, I`ve already learned 5 commands! We are currently working on leash training, I think I get overly excited since I haven`t been in a home in over 400 days.. I am not destructive or overly needy though, I`ll just lounge around. Check back in later for more updates, feel free to follow my journey on instagram! @foxydafabulousIf you`d like to meet me feel free to email: ymota@chulavistaca.gov
