Meet Tabitha! Sweet & spunky not chunky, very petite about 36 pounds. She's talkative, playful & lots of fun. Enjoys car rides, well behaved at the coffee shop and on the patio at restaurants. Walks well on leash, no pulling at all, loves to take naps in the yard. Tabitha is doing well with crate training, needs a slow feeder for her meals. Without it she will eat so quickly that she gags.

Story
Jenny is friendly, playful and energetic but is just as happy chilling on her bed by you wherever you are. She would more than love to curl up on the couch with you too, if you let her. Adventures and car rides are easy, some “head out the window” time, some snoozing time and if you go in the store for a minute, she’ll be standing up waiting for you to get back. Even when we go get groceries, she pays no mind to nice folks that load up our loot. This girl is also very smart, looks for approval, has fallen in with routines well and learned, or is relearning, obedience quickly! We’ve been working on her excitement to run through the door before you and she has learned quickly to wait and look for the ok. Her adopter or foster must be diligent to keep her safe from getting out open doors or gates and into mischief about own. She does have a ‘lil rap sheet with the county so that has to be accounted for. She is fine in the house alone, not destructive at all. She just snoozes or looks out the window when she hears noises. She loves to play and run and is super-fast in zoomie mode! She is agile as well and a great jumper! Her toy play knowledge is minimal so she can be taught lots of good play habits. She has not shown any food, toy or treat guarding towards humans but is untested with other dogs so far. She is treat motivated but once she learns the command she’s just as happy with affection reward alone. When she knows she’s a good girl she wiggles all over. Martini is housebroken. She is good during a bath and likes to be brushed too. On walks she’s fairly non-reactive to dogs, squirrels etc. but inside she is much more attentive and will give chase to small furry friends and bearded dragons for sure. No to cats. She would be fine with an older child but her wiggles and size would be too much for small kids. She is about 4.5 years old, 70 lbs., spayed, brindle with a white diamond on her back. It’s so fitting. Her physique is stunning now that she is eating well and has filled in, gorgeous girl!

Story
Hi, this is Sebastian he is a full breed boxer and he is 2 years old. He’s very social and loves attention and hugs. He has grown up around his 2 other brothers from same litter but unfortunately due to moving I cannot keep him. He’s very friendly and loves to run and play catch. He loves making friends at the dog park. He has a great personality and we are so sad to have to see him go. He need’s special attention to his diet because he’s allergic to chicken and eats a salmon & rice blend dog food. Also he has sensitive skin due to these food allergies. He’s the smallest out of all his brothers I’d say he weighs low 60’s lbs! He is microchipped and he is fixed. With up to date shots!

Story
Ivy is a sweet, silly, cuddly, and affectionate girl - as of September 2024, she has been with us waiting for her forever family for over 365 days which is mind-blowing to staff at Thrive because of how great of a dog she is. Let's prioritize giving this lovebug a much deserved home for her to call her own!! Personality: She is a medium to high energy dog who loves to play - she enjoys mental and physical stimulation such as going for hikes or long walks/runs. She loves playing with other dogs and her people friends, but then she’s happy to relax and sunbathe in the yard after to decompress. Her favorite move is to flop on her back and show you her belly to ask for rubs :) Her Boxer zoomies will make you laugh! Training: Ivy has been going to doggie day care multiple times per week to hang out with all of her dog friends and has been doing great!! Despite her roughhousing playstyle with other large dogs, she is extremely gentle with puppies. She walks nicely on a leash and knows basic commands.  The perfect forever family: She would do great in an active household with a young couple who loves to hike or go on adventures, and is good with kids 13+. She would likely love another active doggie friend. Ivy is available for a long-term committed foster or forever family. Check out our Instagram highlight of her to see her sweet goofy self! @thriveanimalrescue ##1806585##

Story
Paco is a neutered male black and white Staffi/Lab mix. He is 18 months old and weighs 60 lbs. so he will be a big boy when fully grown. He has been raised in Mexico by a lovely family and all vaccines are up to date and he is housetrained. Paco has lots of energy! He would love a yard to run in and a friend to play with. He is good with other dogs although he is overly anxious during initial introductions. He currently lives with several other dogs. He has not been around cats. Paco is as sweet as can be and loves kids. He just wants to find his own person or family to love. Because he’s young, obedience training would help him be the best dog he can be. To meet Paco, contact Dana by email or text: dkmikel@gmail.com or text 760.519.5532.
