Story
DUCKY IS in FOSTER NEAR HESPERIA CA She is a very sweet WHITE Boxer girl who weighs about 40-45 pounds. We rescued her from a high kill shelter, where she came in as a stray and soon gave birth to a litter of adorable brindle & fawn puppies. DUCKY is good with the Aussies in her foster home and has been great with other little dogs and with cats, rides great in a car and although very playful, she is gentle and well behaved. Ducky had a rough go of it having her babies in a cold shelter and she is a little thin and weary, eating plenty of good food and gaining needed weight. Pups have been weaned, are fat and healthy and have been adopted. Mommy is so so so sweet and gentle and would make an awesome pet to anyone. Her blankets are neat and clean and she is not destructive. Enjoys walking on leash and adores company and attention. Please email Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com to ask for our adoption application to adopt Ducky and make her your own best friend. Her adoption fee is $375, fully vetted, spayed and microCHIPPED

Story
Meet Marty, the ultimate snuggle bug who’s all about relaxing and cuddling! He’s the chillest of his three siblings and seems like he’ll be a total couch potato. While he enjoys the occasional playtime with toys, he’s much more content with a cozy nap than the chaos of his playful siblings. Marty is great with kids and both small and large dogs, making him an easygoing companion for any household. He’s also making excellent progress with potty training using puppy pads. If you’re looking for a laid-back, affectionate pup, Marty is ready to join your family and bring endless love! Marty is currently in foster care, so he is not physically on our facility. If you are interested in setting up a time to meet Marty, please reach out to our foster care coordinator through email, fostercare@petsadoption.org

Story
Meet Opal, a young female Boxer with a heart as big as her journey! Opal's story began on the streets of Tijuana, where a heartbreaking picture of her Emaciated and covered in ticks found its way to us. Homeless and struggling, we knew we had to bring her to safety. Once here, we immediately took her to the vet for bloodwork and a 4DX test to check for any tick-borne diseases. Everything came back negative, and her blood work is perfectly normal! We were thrilled! Fast forward a couple months, Opal was on medical status as we worked on slowly gaining weight and building her strength. During her Spay appt, she almost died on the table and it was found that she did in fact contract 2 Tickborne Diseases! She had contracted Erlichia and Anaplasmosis. We cured the tickborne diseases and her blood platelets were damaged. So she has been battling Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia, going every two weeks for routine blood draws and medicine. During the vet visits, we also discovered that Opal is deaf, but that doesn't stop her from being the sweetest, most affectionate dog. She adores being with her humans and thinks she's a lap dog-she'll cuddle up with you any chance she gets! Opal is looking for a loving home where her new family will enjoy her goofy loving personality! If you're ready to be part of Opal's journey and give her the second chance she deserves, please complete our adoption application, and we'll be in touch soon. Let's give this sweet girl the happy ending she's been waiting for!
