Energetic, loving, and goofy 9-year-old Ella is super sweet but needs a family with an experienced dog owner. A little under 2ft tall and 40 lbs, she's sleek and muscular. Ella is fully house-trained and very patient with the three cats she lives with. She's never lived with kids but is generally chill with the children in the neighborhood.   She loves her toys, playing fetch, tug of war games, following you around the house, and of course, napping. Ella wants to be involved in whatever you're doing and is alert to someone coming to the door. She is highly food motivated, Ella picks up new tricks quickly but can be stubborn and easily distracted, so she needs lots of consistent positive reinforcement to maintain behavioral changes. She has many opinions and she will let you know about them.   Ella also plays well with other dogs, although sometimes she has issues with dogs larger than she is, but is good at de-escalating potential conflicts. Ella really loves company so if her new people are gone for a full work day she will need a canine companion. She's leash trained and always excited to jump in the car to visit the park. Fum aka Harley, is a playful and affectionate puppy that is looking for his forever home. He loves exploring and sniffing when out on his walks. He does well on the leash and will occasionally pull for a good sniff but quickly adjust with a little correction. He loves his toys but tends to tear up stuffies, he does best with heavy duty chews and tug toys. Fum is a smart boy already knowing commands like down and sit and is working on more. He is highly treat motivated and cataches on quickly, plus he is crate and potty trained like a champ. Fum is still very much a puppy and working out his puppy energy and needs training and exercise. Fum does well with other dogs, cats, and children, just exercise caution around young ones since he gets the zoomies. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. We adopted Arrow after he was in the local shelter for a year. He is a wonderful, loving 4.5-5 year old pit mix. We have had him for a year and half now and would love to keep him, but need to rehome him for 2 main reasons. 1. We can't give him the attention and activity he needs anymore. He is mostly a couch potato, but when he decides he wants attention or activity, he can get impatient. He likes walks (but is very dog reactive). By far his favorite thing is to go to a field and chase a ball. The problem we have is that Arrow is now competing for time with all the activities that a 6-year kid has on their schedule. That leads to number 2. 2. Arrow has not chilled out around kids (fine with adults) after 18 months. Which is a problem when he is bigger (70 lbs) than most of them. Anytime my son starts dancing or squeaking (as kids do), Arrow gets excited and starts running around the house. This makes us have to split parenting so one is with our son and one with Arrow.
