Story
Meet Rainbow – A Little Ray of Sunshine 🌈 Rainbow is a 3-month-old Boston Terrier and Beagle mix with a bicolor coat of warm brown and white. She’s small in size but has an enormous capacity for love and affection. Her lovable personality makes her a joy to be around, and she’s already great with kids, dogs, and likely cats, too! Rainbow has a special journey ahead of her. She’s currently navigating some unknown seizure activity , and our team has worked hard to uncover the cause and provide her with the best possible care and as of now our vet thinks they have passed. Despite her challenges, Rainbow’s sweet and loving nature shines through, lighting up every heart she meets. She is currently in foster care, unaltered, and is there on house training. Rainbow is looking for a forever family or an angel who is ready to support her special needs and give her the loving home she deserves. Could you be Rainbow’s pot of gold at the end of the storm? 🌟 Accepting applications Unknown Seizure Activity

Story
Greetings potential adopters! Allow me to introduce you to Chuck - a handsome Boston Terrier/Pit Bull mix. At just 1 year old and around 47lbs, Chuck has already experienced a rough start in life, but he's ready to leave that behind and start a new journey with a loving family. Chuck was surrendered by his previous owners along with his brothers. The pups had very little socialization and were dirty, underweight and scared of everything! Chuck's energetic and curious nature will surely keep you on your toes, but his goofy and affectionate side will melt away any stress you may have. He will need slow and easy introductions with all things new, people and dogs. and may do well with older children who can understand his need for space and respect his boundaries. The key to Chuck and his brother will be PATIENCE, TIME, UNDERSTANDING, OPEN MINDEDNESS ( these pups had a traumatic life prior to the shelter!), ROUTINES and LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE! Chuck is neutered, we have microchipped and updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention. Story
Beckham, our handsome and quirky 1-year-old Boston Terrier/Pit Bull mix, is waiting for his forever home. This adorable boy weighs around 45ish lbs and is full of playful energy. But life hasn't been easy for Beckham so far - he was surrendered by his previous owners along with his brothers. The pups had very little socialization and were dirty, underweight and scared of everything! Despite his rough start, Beckham is an affectionate and curious pup who just needs a little extra patience and love to come out of his shell. He may be shy with new situations and people, but once he warms up, he'll shower you with all the love and attention you could want. Beckham will need slow and easy introductions with all things new, people and dogs. He may be best suited for a home with older children who can understand and respect his shy nature. With a patient and understanding family, Beckham will surely blossom into the charming companion he's meant to be. Story
Well first let’s just say that Pepper is NOT a fru-fru girl that needs to be “pretty in pink”.  This girl is a Boston Terrier/Pit mix puppy who was in a very tough and isolated shelter in West Tennessee and she was the one in a million girl that made it OUT!  She is a lover girl but boy can she keep up with the older and bigger boy dogs in the foster home.  She is a great player all day long and she is tough like a “tomboy”.  She is learning the leash, crate trained and she is working on the housebreaking.  She will forever be your girl that tries the hardest to do everything right.  She is weighing in at 27 pounds and 7 months old and will one day be a 35 pound adult beauty.  We love these Pepper ears and her strong personal determination to hang with the BIG BOYS!  She is the survivor that we saw at the top of the steps in the movie “Rocky”. She has beat some unbelievable odds Some true hurdles that only Pepper and Critter Cavalry Rescue knows about.  If you want to be her Champion Adopter please write to us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com We are happy to show you what a special girl she is. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 12, 2025, 8:03 am

Story
Meet Biscuit. He is a purebred pug who is very affectionate but all of my children are seriously allergic to him and because of that he does not recieve the attention he deserves. He is a great companion that just needs the right home. He was purchased from a professional breeder and even has his own birth certificate 😆. We have enjoyed him but now that we know the reason behind breathing issues as well as skin irritations we have decided that he will be happiest in a new home where he can be free to love as he is bred to.
