Story
Meet Jade Meet Jade!! She is a happy-go-lucky 20 lb tripod who loves life! This sweet girl is around 3 years old and loves everyone she meets. Having 3 legs and a traumatic past life is a part of her story, but she doesn't let anything stop her. Jade has adjusted wonderfully to only having 3 legs. She can still jump, run, and play with ease like any other energetic dog. Jade bonds quickly and is so excited to greet you when you get home she can barely contain herself! She wags her tail like crazy and gives you all the kisses, it's the cutest thing. Dogs, cats, and kids are all her best friends immediately. She came to rescue skinny and underweight but has continued to gain weight consistently since she has been with us. This girl loves to go for walks and be anywhere her people are. She rides fantastic in the car and is doing great with house training in foster care! Adoption application link can be found here-https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq

Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Meet Lilly.  She weighs about 16 pounds and is between 6/8 years old, we believe she is a Boston Terrier mix. She is a good, sweet girl and would make the best companion for an older couple or retiree, someone who is home more often than not. She likes to fill her days lying beside you or gazing out the window from the comfort of her bed. She is very mellow and laid back and rarely ever pulls on a leash when you walk her.  Lilly is house trained. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated.  If you would like to give Lilly her forever home please click on the following link to fill out an application:  https://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application/   Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip. ADULT DOGS (over 1 year) $225.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, first set of routine yearly vaccines, heartworm/lyme test, two rounds of dewormer, one  round of flea medication, and Microchip. KITTENS AND CATS $100.00,   Includes spay or neuter,  vaccine according to their age, two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medication, felv/fiv test, and microchip.   For more information on this animal email adoptionisforever@pethelpersinc.org. Pet Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster based volunteer rescue located in Fairmont, WV.  We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet.  We do not fly or use transport companies.  Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens.  Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough.  If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done.  All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet.  All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7.  The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family.  You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval.  This will enable us to accept another pet into that home.  Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered. If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted you are required to return them to Pet Helpers, Inc.  They are not to be sold or given away.   Check us out on Facebook!!!!!!  We hope you will give us two paws up, like our page and share with your friends.  Pet Helpers, Inc. Story
Charlotte Good with dogs, cats, kids. Great in kennel. Cautious in beginning with men but once comfortable, very loving. She is still very much getting comfortable with surroundings and will NOT walk on leash so will need a yard while she gets trained. She needs an adopter with patience as she is easily spooked. Charlotte came to the rescue with a broken leg and was pregnant. She was likely hit by a car as her uterus had ruptured and had to be spayed immediately. She has a strong and very sweet spirit and will make someone's family complete. She LOVES kids and is good with other dogs. She has come very far with me in the short time she has been here so I know she will only gain more trust as time goes on. We have no idea what kind of situation she came from other than neglectful, so lets find her the BEST home!! Only the best need apply :) ADOPT DON'T SHOP!!! HER LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!! Local adoption fee is $500 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $800 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Zoey is an almost 10 year old Boston Terrier who loves to be loved. She's originally from Virginia and traveled the country with me until I settled down here in Western PA. She loves being outside, laying in the sun, playing with other dogs, but mostly just wants to be close to you. She is an all around happy dog and thrives on being around people that love her. Unfortunately with my growing family and young kids (and the unfortunate allergies that have developed), Zoey would be much better off in a home with folks that can give her the attention and love she truly deserves.
