You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application.The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!My name is Taylor.  I came to the ranch when I was 7 weeks old and have been here for almost 2 years.  I have a bladder problem that cannot be surgically corrected.  I could wear diapers but I absolutely hate them!!  Here at the ranch I do not have to wear a diaper because they mop and steam floors several times a day but I drip and they don't make me feel bad about it :)I may spend my life here but if I do I will be loved and accepted even though I can't hold my bladder :) I love to give kisses and recieve pets!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Hello everyone. This is my dog, Wunna. Wunna is four years old. He is such a good boy and very playful. He loves walks, food and fun toys. I trained him very well due to my very heavy work schedule. He is able to hold himself for 12 hours. He is probably the most playful/lazy dog ever. I am giving Wunna up for adoption because my job Is becoming even more busier than it was when I first got him. Wunna deserves an attentive home and owner. Unfortunately, I cannot do this for him anymore. I have moved into a dangerous city and I have to walk him late at night when I get home from work, which is very terrifying for me. This is all I can afford so if the option was to move, I definitely would’ve did that to keep him in my life. He was my emotional support animal during Covid and we have gained such a strong connection. This is very sad for me, but I know it’s for the greater good and he deserves a better home.

Pepper is a 3yr old Boston Terrier. Pepper is a playful typical Boston. She weighs 26 lbs. She gets along with everyone. She knows how to sit and give paw. The issue with Pepper, is to no fault of her own. I did not crate train her and I let her sleep with me since I got her. She needs to be crate trained at night by someone who has the literal patience of a saint. She thrashes in the cage and barks and whines. My home is incredibly small and she will literally do it all night and keep everyone up all night. We tried for over 2 weeks until she broke me and I let her back in my bed. The issue is she wakes me up repeatedly and my mental health as declined very badly. Id like to see her go with a family with another Boston. Someone who will take her for walks daily. You must agree to not change her name. This will already be very traumatizing for her. I have major health issues and cant take care of her the way she needs. We live in NE Pa and cant travel far. You must provide proof of vet
