Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Griffin, a sweet and gentle boy from a litter of seven who is waiting for a patient, loving family to call his own! Born on August 30, 2025, Griffin weighs 11.8 pounds and has a quiet charm all his own. Griffin’s mom is a beautiful pure bred Boston Terrier who found herself on the streets.  We suspect the dad was a local unnamed politician that promised the moon.  A good Samaritan rescued the mom and fostered her puppies until they were 8 weeks old.   Griffin is our shy boy. He loves attention and affection, but he needs a little time to get to know you first. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side shines through! He adores toys and playtime and promises to be a fun and loving companion once he has built his trust in you. This little pup needs someone with the time and patience to continue his training and socialization, helping him build confidence and grow into a well-adjusted adult dog. If Griffin sounds like the perfect, sweet addition to your family, please complete an application on our website: www.adoggie4you.org.  His adoption fee is $350. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Grant, the charming "big boy" of a litter of seven, weighing in at a sturdy 17 pounds! Born on August 30, 2025, Grant is an adventurous, people-oriented pup ready to find a family who can keep up with his lively spirit. Grant’s mom is a beautiful pure bred Boston Terrier who found herself on the streets.  We suspect the dad was the encyclopedia salesman.  A good Samaritan rescued the mom and fostered her puppies until they were 8 weeks old.   Grant has earned himself the nickname of "puppy pen escape artist" in the rescue. His mission in life is to be right where the action is and, most importantly, right by his people’s side! This clever boy is looking for a secure home environment and a family ready for fun and companionship. Like all young puppies, Grant needs someone with the time and patience to continue his training and socialization so he can grow into a confident, well-mannered adult. He’s smart, eager to learn, and promises to fill your life with entertainment and love. His adoption fee is $350. If Grant sounds like the perfect, playful addition to your family, please complete an application on our website: www.adoggie4you.org. Story
Looking for a little dog with a lot of heart? Meet Ian! This pint-sized black and white pup is living proof that a broken hip and medical needs do not mean a broken spirit! Ian's hip has healed but he is on daily meds for a medical condition, Diabetes insipidus. Despite it all, Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of playful energy that is absolutely contagious. Ian may be small, but he has a big love for life. He thrives on attention and is constantly looking for a game of seek with his toys or a good cuddle session. He plays well with other dogs, making him a great potential new sibling for your current furry friend. When it comes to his favorite things, toys rank high on the list, and food is right up there too; he's happily not picky about his meals... He eats from a slow feeder bowl to make sure he doesn't get too overzealous with his meals and is able to digest well. Ian is looking for a loving home where his joyful personality can shine and he can get the care and affection he deserves. Are you ready to give this resilient, playful boy a chance at a happy forever home? Basic Info: Male, 1 yr old Boston Terrier/Chihuahua Coat: Black and White UTD on shots and parasitic preventatives. Diabetes Insipidus: affects urine concentration, requires twice daily meds to maintain healthy urine and for bladder contraction to aid in fully emptying the bladder Local adoption fee (Texas) - $200 Out of state adoption (includes transport to your area) ‐ $450

Story
Meet Ginger! An adorable senior with the soul of a puppy. Ginger must be an only pet. She does not like to share her humans or her possessions. She divides her time equally between playing and cuddling. She gets a little grumbly if you decide to end either before she's ready but she does correct easily. I wouldn't recommend a home with kids because of her desire not to share. This sweet girl has a history of struvite crystals and does require observations for flareups. She also has dry eye and will need prescription eye ointment lifelong. Otherwise, she is in good health. If you are a strong, patient pack leader and are looking for a cuddly ball of energy, Ginger may be your girl.June 30, 2025, 10:08 pm

Story
Location: Covington, KY Food: Farmina N&D Tropical Selection Salmon Medication: NexGard Plus Are you looking to feel like Peter Pan by having a shadow that will interact with you? If so, Doreen is your girl! Frenchies are called "velcro dogs", and Doreen is industrial grade. Forget about the idea of personal space... she loves people, and loves HER person the most of all. She hasn't shown much interest in toys or playing, but she loves to snuggle and on walks will insist on saying hello to every person she sees. Speaking of walks - this girl is amazing on a leash! Doreen does like kiddos, but can get a little shy if things are too noisy so she would do better in a home with kids who are a little older. She likes other dogs too, but the same rules apply - if they're high energy or vocal, they probably won't be a great match for her. She does love to cuddle up with her foster sister at bed time, so a dog that can match her energy would be wonderful but she would also love to be the star of the show in a home where she's the only four-legged resident. If you want a sidekick who will follow you to the ends of the earth as long as there's a comfy bed, pillow, or blanket to curl up on, Doreen might be your girl! ***Adoption Process*** -All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. -Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!

Story
Location: Centerville, OH Food: Blue Buffalo Salmon and Brown Rice Medication: NexGard Plus, Forti Flora This pint sized pup made quite an entrance to rescue with his insides trying to visit the outside world (rectal prolapse). After emergency surgery to correct this and neuter (while in Rome, right?) Timmy spent the next couple weeks healing up from that ordeal before returning to the vet to have his nares and palate surgeries. So what do I know about this teeny boy? He is tiny. He weighed 25 1/2 on arrival but didn’t have a waist at all. Now he is 21 1/2 and is perfectly sized for his frame. He can’t wear any clothes because all of them are too long for his body or his legs if they fit his chest. I know that he is working hard on potty training, but the background of his surgery combined with the aftermath of his surgery has made it hard to tell what his baseline is. He will go outside, but we have had a few accidents that have gotten fewer in number the longer he’s had to heal but will need more time and consistency in his new home. I know he is food motivated. He knows SIT and NO. He is crate trained. He loves to follow you or his foster siblings around everywhere. He cuddles and plays, but is a more reserved player with the other dogs. What I don’t know…if Timmy likes cats, although he is a perfect gentleman with our free roam rabbit. So my guess is that he would likely do fine with cats. I’m not sure how potty training will look for his future. I don’t know how he does on walks as it got very cold before we could get out for any lengthy walks. Lastly, I know he is absolutely super stinking adorable!

Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Zignature Trout and Salmon Medication: NexGard After being surrendered by an out-of-state puppy mill, this 2½-year-old French Bulldog arrived in Ohio without even a name. While searching for French inspiration, we came across “Mon chéri,” meaning “my darling”—described as “a warm hug sprinkled with sweetness.” We couldn’t imagine a more perfect name for this special girl. Meet Cherie! 💕 Cherie is a nicely balanced dog: playful but not wild, laid-back but never boring, affectionate yet perfectly content to nap in her crate. She also has just enough of classic Frenchie orneriness to make things fun. She genuinely enjoys playing with other dogs, but say the word “Netflix” and she’s ready to claim her spot on the couch. She’s happy relaxing in her crate with a bone, but we also have video proof of her attempting to pick up a broomstick as if it were a toy, which, as you can imagine, did not go as planned! Cherie loves toys and one of her favorite games is dragging them outside and leaving them scattered across the yard for you to collect (she enjoys this more than you will). She’s even been known to relocate a car snow scraper to the backyard, for reasons unclear. As you may have guessed from these examples, she will try to chew on household items if given the opportunity, so a dose supervision is helpful. Cherie is crate trained, quiet in her crate, and about 90% house trained. Cold weather, however, is not her favorite—she needs a little extra encouragement to go outside when it’s cold, wet, or snowy (she’d like it noted that she is, in fact, not the postal service). She does great in the car and enjoys riding along for adventures. While no dog is perfect, Cherie’s quirks are minor, and she truly lives up to her name. Sweet, friendly, and loving with everyone she meets, both human and canine. She loves to stare up at you with big soft eyes that will melt your heart. Cherie would thrive in a home that offers plenty of cuddles, opportunities to play with other dogs, leisurely walks… and, per Cherie’s request, plenty of chew toys.
