Story
Ravioli is a 32lb 2 year old boy that found himself in bad situations over and over before coming to us- due to NO fault of his own. Now, it’s his time to SHINE and have the wonderful life he deserves!! Ravioli is crate trained and has done well with the other dogs that he’s met with us. He’s fully vetted, completed obedience training and will come with a free lesson for his adopters. He’s a great size and a great age to go on all of your adventures with you! He’s met the dog savvy office kitties where he’s training and has done well with them (please understand that these cats are very used to dogs. If a cat ran from him he would probably chase it just like most other dogs would). Ravioli hasn’t met any small children with us so for now at least we’re looking for a home with no small children. Toddlers can be loud and unpredictable and struggle with boundaries and we want to set Ravioli and his new family up for success. Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don’t know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs! Our adoption fee is $350. **We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)** If you are interested in any of our dogs, please visit https://releashatlanta.com/adoptable-dogs.php to either view more of their profile or to apply to adopt! If you have questions, please email adopt@releashatlanta.com Take a moment and like our Facebook Page for updates on our dogs and the first look at dogs coming into the program! www.facebook.com/releashatlanta Thank you!!

Story
Brody is a 4 y/o pure-bred Boston Terrier. His brindle coat, and unique marking on his forehead makes him a stand out. Brody is on the smaller size for a typical Boston; He is around 20 lbs - 15-16" Tall. Brody is lively, energetic, perpetually happy and ALWAYS ready to play. I purchased Brody from a pet store in Brooklyn when he was 3 months old and have taken great care of him ever since. When I got Brody, it was for him to be a companion to my first dog. They get along ok, but it did not have the desired affect of alleviating some of the burden of having to spend so much time on managing energy levels and playtime needs. I now reside in W. Midtown, Atlanta GA, where I work from home, am an apartment dweller, keeping a pretty busy schedule and don't have as much time to dedicate to Brody as he needs. I am rehoming Brody in hopes to find a more perfect fit for his vibrant, energetic personality. Preferably a family home with a yard and kids in the suburbs. 🏡🐶

Story
This adorable munchkin is Maximus! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 12/6, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. Maximus is now looking for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Maximus as friendly and loving. He is a well-behaved little guy; he's quiet in his kennel and he walks nicely on leash! If you're looking for a small, cute, new BFF to dote on please come meet Maximus! Maximus is approximately 2 years old, and he weighs 16 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Maximus did test positive for heartworms, but with proper care and treatment, he can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while he receives his treatment. Maximus is waiting patiently in kennel 322; his ID # is 6691. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
