Story
Brody is a 4 y/o pure-bred Boston Terrier. His brindle coat, and unique marking on his forehead makes him a stand out. Brody is on the smaller size for a typical Boston; He is around 20 lbs - 15-16" Tall. Brody is lively, energetic, perpetually happy and ALWAYS ready to play. I purchased Brody from a pet store in Brooklyn when he was 3 months old and have taken great care of him ever since. When I got Brody, it was for him to be a companion to my first dog. They get along ok, but it did not have the desired affect of alleviating some of the burden of having to spend so much time on managing energy levels and playtime needs. I now reside in W. Midtown, Atlanta GA, where I work from home, am an apartment dweller, keeping a pretty busy schedule and don't have as much time to dedicate to Brody as he needs. I am rehoming Brody in hopes to find a more perfect fit for his vibrant, energetic personality. Preferably a family home with a yard and kids in the suburbs. 🏡🐶

Story
A VERY ACTIVE & FUN FRIEND:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 27 lbs. & needs to gain weight Hello there!  I’m Cosmo!  I’ve had a home since I was a puppy, but unfortunately my family was moving and could not take me with them.  That makes me sad, but I am thankful that Mostly Mutts was able to welcome me into the MM family.  I am getting great care from the dedicated volunteers who come to care for me and am now ready to find my new home!  I spent some time in the prison/foster training program offsite and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I am reactive towards them.  When I see them from afar on walks, I don’t react – just when I get up close to them.  For this reason, I would like to be your only dog.  / I was reportedly good with cats in my previous home – though I was scared and would run if they were mean to me.  It will likely depend on the kitty, but if you have a dog-friendly kitty at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / My former owner said I was good with kids though I don’t recall their ages and I recently met children at Mostly Mutts and was nice and calm with them away from the shelter environment which tends to get make too excited.  If you have kids ages 10+, let’s meet away from the shelter! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am an active guy and am looking for a family that will provide me with lots of opportunities to have fun with and be active with them.  Sweet and friendly, my trainer said I am of one their favorite dogs, as I am so trainable and manageable.  The volunteers say I’m an ‘awesome dog’ who listens very well.  My temp. foster even rated me a 10 out of 10 pup.  So, what are you waiting for, come meet me today and fall in love!  / My energy level is 6 – 8+ so let’s have some fun together! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  I also know how to ‘high five’!  / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, as well as in my previous home. / My potty habits were good on the prison/foster training program schedule, and in my temp. foster home where I let my foster know when I needed to go.  Hopefully I will do the same in my new home. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to play and especially love sticks, balls and belly rubs.  Playing fetch is also super fun!  I am good at doggie puzzles and can self-entertain with a toy.  I’d love a nice, fenced yard to run off my energy, but supervise me, as I had the ability to jump a fence in my former home.  I ride well in the car, so I would make a good hiking buddy or a great partner to take to the park.  A volunteer recently took me on a day trip to Kennesaw Mountain and they said I was so excited that I jumped for joy to be there and walked for several miles which I loved!  I was respectful of the dogs and people I saw and did not try to pull towards them.  I also enjoyed the smells and watching the birds!  I’d be happiest with a family member who can be active with me and whose schedule provides chances for us to share lots of adventures together. / I would not be happy if I had to spend too much time alone with little exercise.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I’m eating Science Diet w/d food to help with some digestive challenges that I’m having.  I may not need to stay on this food once I’m settled into my new home, so just ask about that. I am looking for a family to be active with me and provide me with a great, loving home for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  November 15, 2024, 11:29 am

Story
Ravioli is a 32lb 2 year old boy that found himself in bad situations over and over before coming to us- due to NO fault of his own. Now, it’s his time to SHINE and have the wonderful life he deserves!! Ravioli is crate trained and has done well with the other dogs that he’s met with us. He’s fully vetted, completed obedience training and will come with a free lesson for his adopters. He’s a great size and a great age to go on all of your adventures with you! He’s met the dog savvy office kitties where he’s training and has done well with them (please understand that these cats are very used to dogs. If a cat ran from him he would probably chase it just like most other dogs would). Ravioli hasn’t met any small children with us so for now at least we’re looking for a home with no small children. Toddlers can be loud and unpredictable and struggle with boundaries and we want to set Ravioli and his new family up for success. Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don’t know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs! Our adoption fee is $350. **We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)** If you are interested in any of our dogs, please visit https://releashatlanta.com/adoptable-dogs.php to either view more of their profile or to apply to adopt! If you have questions, please email adopt@releashatlanta.com Take a moment and like our Facebook Page for updates on our dogs and the first look at dogs coming into the program! www.facebook.com/releashatlanta Thank you!!
