Jake, male, 8yr old Border Collie mix, weighs 38lbs Jake has had some tough days. He was found injured by a good Samaritan and they brought him to rescue in Texas. From what the vet thought, he had been hit by a car as he had a fractured pelvis. This has completely healed, and it has not stopped him from loving life. He is extremely sweet and loves other dogs and kids. He has a calm demeanor and is happy to hang around the house and in his dog bed. Jake is house trained and has not ever needed to be crated in his foster home due to him being so trustworthy. If you are looking for a wonderful companion dog that doesn't require a lot of exercise and has perfect house manners, get your application in quickly for this fine gentleman.   We are located at S47 W30760 State Road 59, North Prairie, WI As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. Meet Tabitha! This adorable little girl has been in Wisconsin now for nearly a year :( We've learned so much about her during this time we just know the perfect home is out there for her! She prefers the company of women, and love to hang out with other dogs. Shes quite the snuggler in bed if you let her sleep with you, or she's totally fine hanging out with other dogs to snooze. She enjoys her time outdoors and does best in a home with a fenced yard. She currently is in a foster home on a farm and enjoys all things farm related! Tabitha will do best in a home with herding breed experience! She might need more than one meeting to warm up to you, but once she does, you are her friend for life! Please help us find the perfect home for Tabitha! She's one of a kind! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense. She soon gave birth, and now that her babies are all grown it's time for her to be the center of someone's world! Iris's speckled coat is stunning, and her sweet, snuggly nature is just icing on the cake. Her foster shared, "Iris is going to make anyone a great companion! She enjoys walks or even goes for runs. Iris will also snuggle up with you on the couch and watch your favorite show. Just beware, she snores when she gets really tired! Its the cutest noise 😆" Apply for this amazing girl today!
