She is a bit standoffish at first and needs some time to warm up to new people. She is very submissive and will melt on the floor for other dogs and for pets. After about 5 days in her new foster home, she is starting to play with toys and the other dogs, coming out of her shell more. Pip would do best with a fenced in yard as she likes to run and explore and really is nervous being tied up. Pip gets along great with the 5 other dogs in the home and the cats. She is very much a follower and not a leader, being a great dog for anyone that needs a less dominant dog. Pip would do best with older children because she gets nervous with loud sounds and lots of commotion, making her a great dog for a quieter household. She is housebroke and loves her kennel, she will lay in it on her own and she curls up right away and doesn't make a peep while she's in it. Pip took to her foster sister Chloe right away and finds comfort in her. They don't need to be adopted together, but she wouldn't object to the idea if someone was looking to add 2 sweet girls to their home. Apply to meet Pip today, you won't regret it!

 Nakoma, a border collie cross aged 1-2 years, was sheltered following a car accident and subsequent nursing care, resulting in a full recovery. She is an ideal candidate for a family pet, demonstrating a strong affinity for small children, cuddling, and belly rubs. Her leash walking skills are impressive, and she has mastered basic commands. Additionally, she exhibits curiosity around cats and engages with them in a friendly manner. She also interacts well with other dogs. If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application.  Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. Curly is Mr Personality! He is 4-6 yrs old, 55lbs, friendly, handsome, neutered male with a curly coat border collie and golden retriever mix. He loves to run around the yard with his dog friends. He has great indoor manners and likes to cuddle up near his family. Adults, older children and other dogs he just loves them all. He hasn’t met any cats so that is unknown. He is a gentle, calm, well-behaved and loving dog. Curly is chill and will lay on your feet and follow you from room to room. He will let you scratch his head or tummy anytime and if you let him, he will lay his head on your lap. Curly always has a smile and seems happy. He loves doggie treats, and is learning how to sit and walk on a leash. He is crate trained. His foster family loves him and has been impressed by how well he fit right in with the family. He has so much unconditional love to give a new family. He is located in Antioch IL. His adoption fee is $450. He is completely vetted up to date.
