Story
Pippen is a young (10 months) border collie mix who will blossom and flourish with a loving and caring family. She is very smart and as she becomes less shy, will be capable of many tricks. She has spent most of her life in a shelter and has not been socialized but with introductions, will do well. She is good with other dogs. We have an older dog who has responded with stress with a doggy sibling, which is not her fault, otherwise we would keep her.

Story
Welcome Bear to CCPAL foster program. Bear is a young male that is 5 months old. He is 50% Border Collie and the other is Terrier. These puppies all love the water and would love a home that allows them to play in the water. He is the biggest of the 3 boys and a stronger personality. He is the most dominant of the 3 boys. He is outgoing and social and is slightly less attentive than his two brothers. He should be 50 pounds full grown. He currently is about 27 pounds. He lives with children and is around goats in his farm house foster home. He has long beautiful and shinny fur. He is knows sit and can walk on a leash. He is good in a car and friendly with his litter mates. He hasn’t been around any other dogs but his litter mates. They are all boys. He has the striking looks of a Border Collie. We would love someone that knows and loves the breed to apply for Bear or any in this litter. We think Bear has less of the Border Collie personality and more of the dad’s personality who was a Terrier. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 600. He is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He can be in a home with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Beautiful Braeden is about 5 mo old and already weighs approx 33lbs. We expect him to weigh about 50lbs or so when he’s full grown. He is clearly a Border Collie, although according to dna, he is mixed with Australian Shepherd and a few other breeds. Typical of his breeds, he is a very intelligent puppy that learns exceedingly quick when you’re trying teach him new commands and manners. He does still need more training so an experienced person that will continue his training will help him become a well mannered k9 citizen in no time. Although he is an active boy that thrives on his daily playtime and exercise, he is also a cuddly, somewhat submissive boy so lots of confidence building and cuddles will be required. He loves to run and explore so a 5ft or higher, securely fenced yard is also a must. He’s wonderful with other dogs, although he doesn’t need a k9 pal in the home as long as he has plenty of play dates. He does not seem to have strong herding instincts so kids over 6yrs old would be fine. He’s also ok with dog savvy cats. He is not yet old enough for his neuter surgery so it will be scheduled at the time of adoption. If you would like to meet Mr. Braden please email k9cabbie@gmail.com and include your phone number. Adoption fee is $450November 4, 2024, 1:04 pm

Story
Meet Bada🩵 (It means sea in Korean) At the end of June 2022, Bada was admitted to the shelter with a fractured front leg. Bandaged in the hot weather, his wound attracted flies, and upon examination after rescue, his bones were misaligned, requiring a second surgery. Now, his bones have healed well, and he is happily running around without any issues. 😊 * Interaction with People : Bada is extremely fond of people. He's a sweetheart to humans, always greeting them with a big smile, which is so adorable. ❤ * Interaction with Dogs: He can be assertive towards dogs who play rough, so caution is needed. Tends to avoid encountering dogs with whom he had a clash at the Center. * Potty Training: He's been doing outdoor potty at the Center. * Hygiene: He's cooperative with ear cleaning and doesn't resist. However, he might whine when getting his nails trimmed as he's not used to it, so regular walks to grind his nails are necessary. * Walking: He follows people without pulling on the leash. Sometimes, he may resist going where he doesn't want to, but with leash training, he'll likely improve quickly. * Car Sickness: He's fine in the car and doesn't experience motion sickness at all! 💌Special Notes💌 * Separation anxiety and toilet training are still unknown as he's been living in a group at the center. * He rarely barks unnecessarily, but sometimes, he may bark alertly at external noises. He stops when called. * Bada enjoys being with people and receiving love while resting, so a place where he can receive undivided attention would be ideal. ☺️ He also enjoys his alone time when needed!

Story
Meet Rown🖤🤍 *Toward people: Loves people very very much! Although he experienced lots of accidents and has tragic memories about his past, he is a human-loving dog who shows lots and lots of love and affection! *Toward dogs: Is an energetic dog who loves playing with dog friends. Small dogs may be afraid of him sometimes due to his upbeat personality, but he can become a gentle dog by training him to control his excitement! *Separation anxiety: Unknown as he is staying at the center. *Potty training: Only outdoor potties at the center. *Hygiene: Has not experienced proper hygiene care yet as he is recovering/ getting treatments after his surgery, but he took hygiene-related care very well before surgery! ☺️ *Walking: Enjoys walking, but needs training as he may get hyper-excited. *Car-sickness: Rides cars very well without carsickness! 🖤Rescue Story🤍 Rown was rescued from the streets. He urgently needed surgery as he ate stones and screws. His legs were also injured probably due to the tough street environment, so he also had leg surgery and is currently recovering well. Rown is looking for a forever family that can give him lots of love and help make him healthy again! 🙏🏻 💌Special Notes💌 *Is undergoing rehabilitation after his ankle surgery, but has recovered a lot and walks well now! He may need to receive continuous rehabilitation therapy. Completed ankle fracture surgery

Meet Latto🖤 He was rescued along with his sibling Jella from Korean city shelter, where they were being cared for by a member of our Adogs team! We urgently rescued them from the shelter, which often posts euthanasia lists due to the overwhelming number of animals needing protection. * With People: He loves people and quickly opens his heart to even strangers, showing her cute side. * With Dogs: He enjoys the company of active dogs and loves to play with them! He may bark a little warily towards larger dogs. * Hygiene: He enjoys taking baths. * Walks: He enjoys going on walks and walks nicely on a leash. * Car sickness: He rides well in the car without showing signs of sickness!

Story
** Currently fostered in Houston Texas, but available for adoption out of state via rescue transportation, included in adoption fee. Offer Zoom call to virtually meet prior to adoption. Meet Barkley! This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January2023, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has energy and he loves to run and play, but can be a couch potato too. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Barkley likes other dogs if they are female, but has not been a fan of males. We believe it's from a lack of social time with other dogs because he doesn't come off as just an aggressive pup, he just seems like he was kept in a yard and ignored a lot of the time prior to rescue and may not be familiar with most dogs. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm. For more information on how to adopt Barkley, contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com for an application.

Story
Searching for a rehome for my sweet girl Rue. Im looking for people with experience with reactive dogs and have the right environment for her. Unfortunately life has other plans and I cannot provide her with the environment and support she needs anymore. We have had trouble finding a good fit for her because of her history and reactivity. She is very active and loves to run and play. She also loves to train and is super trainable and willing to work! She does good with other pups and likes being in a pack but also does good alone. She does struggle with general anxiety and we have been working through her reactivity issues with a trainer. She completed a 1 month board and train that has helped. She is reactive on leash with dogs, people and bikes. She has a history of 1 bite level 3 on the Dunbar scale but hasnt bit anyone since. She needs someone experienced and with enough love and attention to give her. Shes very funny and sweet and just needs some extra love!
