Story
Meet Jack! This handsome fellow is just waiting to become your new best friend! Jack is a happy go lucky guy who is a joy to be around. Everyone who meets him says what a nice boy he is. Jack came in to the shelter initially as a stray, so we do not know much about his history. Based off his teeth condition, his age is estimated to be around 3-5. We also believe his breed is likely a Border Collie mix. He has gotten along with all staff, volunteers, visitors, and even other dogs! But we have noted that he does seem fearful of small children, so we advise that he doesn’t not go to a home with any kids under the age of 12. The people who found Jack also said he was not great with chickens, so a home without livestock may be best. Jack loves to play with toys of all kinds and is really a blast to be around. He has soulful eyes that look up at you with all the love in the world. Jack is still learning leash skills, and while he isn’t much of a puller, he can get a bit jumpy when excited. It’s not all the time jumpy, he just seems convinced that he is a lap dog and not a dog who weighs 60 lbs. Jack is neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on current vaccines! If you are interested in giving Jack a place to call home, please fill out our adoption questionnaire on our main website at: https://hsjcwa.org/adopt-a-dog

We encourage all prospective adopter to do their own evaluation.Hi, I'm Ozzy, a playful and energetic Border Collie/Husky mix looking for my forever home! I just turned 1 in December 2023 and am already neutered. I'd love a home where I can have a job to do, plenty of space to run, and maybe even some farm life to explore. Here's a little about me:I love to play, swim, and hang out with other dogs (the dog park is my favorite!).I'm good with cats, kids, and even a Guinea pig-though I mostly leave him alone.I'm learning to coexist with goats, sheep, horses, and chickens, but I sometimes need a little reminder not to chase the feathered ones.I'm still working on potty training, but with a consistent schedule, I'll get there!Chew toys are my best friend since I'm still learning what's okay to nibble on.Oh, and I'm a talker-so if you like chatty dogs, I'm your guy!I'm currently in Bremerton, WA, but my human Kristen is happy to travel a bit to help me meet the perfect match. If you think I might be the right fit for your family, please reach out. I can't wait to meet you! ❤️ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Age: 1yrs 2mths 3wks
