Duke is an extremely funny boy! He has lots of energy and loves to play, he is definitely huge on water. He took it right away, not scared of anything have taken him to Ocean Shores, as well as many lakes and dog parks with lakes, and he enjoys swimming, he will even jump in without a ball. He just loves it! He is very lovable, but it definitely is when he wants to give affection. He will tolerate some cuddling, but once hes done, hes running off playing with toys and wanting you to play with him. He does very good on walks. Does not lunge or pull unless he smells something hes interested in. He definitely has a big personality with a lot of grunts and whines whenever he doesn’t get his way! Hes a very silly boy but he definitely needs a large yard where he can be outside running as much as he wants. He has a lot and I mean a lot of love to give and will always brighten your day with his silly antics.

Clementine is a wonderful girl who's seeking a committed home and family to take good care of her and love her for the rest of her life. She appears to be a herding breed mix, maybe Border Collie mix but doesn't have the "busy life" characteristics of a border collie. She was found as a stray in Tacoma and owners never found. She had severe itching and bald spots when we got her, and it's cleared up with some meds and TLC. It was due to overabundance of yeast all over her. She just needs a lower carb diet to keep the yeast away; like Merrick, Taste of the Wild or Orijin to name a few. She's a quiet girl, good on leash and loves to explore. She is crate trained and has shown good house manners. We are requiring a securely fenced yard for this girl, no exceptions. Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented. Wonderful 2 year old Bordoodle, affectionate, cuddly, playful, energetic, highly intelligent. We have been fostering him since his owner died a year ago but it’s time for his forever home (we love him so much but we just have too many animals). He is a really good boy but he needs attention or he will steal your socks and underwear! He actually does not eat shoes and has learned our house rules very well. He is very healthy, loves to play with our other dogs, respects our house bunnies, and could learn to be a working farm dog with some training (we have chickens). Great family dog or companion for anyone willing to give him love and attention. We want him to go to a stable home where he gets lots of love and exercise, please understand we will be selective and take our time if necessary to find the right situation for him.

To adopt pls apply Chance was relinquished from an apartment home, and he wasn't super socialized. He has made huge strides, yet we are still working on potty training. Its gotten LOT much better since he has gotten neutered! All shots, all medical are done. Transport includes transport to the PNW and health certificate too!. He was saved in TX and we have no foster for him in the PNW:( He was neutered when he came into rescue. He is very dog and human friendly. Likely not good with cats but we do not know. All dogs come with a 5 day trial period. Please ask us how that works. In the sweltering heat, flies swarmed around his bandaged wound, which had become infected. After being rescued, it was discovered that his bone had healed improperly, requiring corrective surgery. Now fully recovered, Bada is healthy and energetic, leaping and running with joy. 😊 With People: Bada loves people and quickly warms up to them. While he may need a little time to get comfortable initially, he soon becomes playful, even jumping excitedly to greet you. Treats help speed up the bonding process! He enjoys being petted and eagerly stands on his hind legs to welcome familiar faces. However, when he’s overly excited, he may run off playfully when approached for pets. With Dogs: Bada enjoys the company of other dogs and plays well with those who match his energy. However, his excitement level can be high during play, and disagreements may arise if his playmates aren’t receptive. He would do best with a similarly energetic dog or as the only dog in the home. Separation Anxiety: Currently unknown, as he resides in the shelter. Potty Training: Fully trained for outdoor pottying. Grooming and Hygiene: He is initially wary of brushing but tolerates it well with gentle handling. He allows ear cleaning without fuss and doesn’t engage in destructive behaviors.While he isn’t a fan of nail trims, he cooperates one paw at a time. Walking and Outdoor Behavior: Bada loves walks! While he doesn’t pull excessively on the leash, his large size means he exerts natural strength when moving.
