Story
Tundra is a sweet, sensitive lad who transferred to HSU from another shelter in a rural area. He likely came in as a stray at the previous shelter, so we don't know his past, but his future looks bright with you! He spent a couple of weeks in a foster home and they had this to say: "Meet Tundra, a sweet and sensitive soul who blossoms with a little patience and love. While he may be shy and timid at first, once he gets to know you, he transforms into a joyful wiggle worm, eager for affection and companionship. Tundra is a 2-year-old medium-sized Border Collie mix with energy to spare and a heart full of love. He’s incredibly smart and thrives on attention, often nudging you for pets and never saying no to affection. He’s a social pup who enjoys making new friends, both human and canine, and is always up for an adventure. Tundra has a strong prey drive—he’s shown interest in chasing ducks, so he’s not suitable for homes with chickens. He has no known experience with cats, so we’re unsure how he would behave around them. As for kids, Tundra’s gentle and friendly demeanor suggests he could be a great match for a home with children, though supervision is always recommended. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion in his new home. Though Tundra loves exploring, he can be a bit nervous around poles when on a leash. With a gentle hand and reassurance, he’s quick to regain his confidence. If you’re looking for an affectionate, energetic, and loyal companion who will be your shadow and best friend, Tundra might just be the perfect match for you!" Please contact our Adoption Team to set up a meet and greet with Tundra. 801-261-2919 ext. 227 or adoptions@utahhumane.org He is currently in a foster home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm little Pedrito, I'm a 22lb, 1 year old bundle of love! I am a pretty shy little boy, still scared of this world - but I love being around loving kind people, and when I'm comfortable and feel safe, I really love to get pets! I am used to the crate and have been a really good boy - I just need a kind, gentle and loving human to help me learn the rest. I love to play with other dogs and would do best with a doggy sibling in my forever home, too! I live with 12 dog friends right now. I even know how to use a dog door! I'm calm and playful, a good mix - I just want to trust and love, will that be you? I would love to meet you and find my forever home!
