Story
Meet Venus the Perfect Puppy! She is currently almost 9 weeks old and we think she may be a Border Collie/Labrador mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch more about Venus here: We think Venus is indeed the perfect puppy, and it just takes one look at her sweet fluffy face and expressive eyes to know that we just might be right. Venus is a gorgeous silky soft black fluffball that we simply can't get enough of! But it's not just Venus' appearance that will hook 'ya because this adorable girl has the charm and charisma to match. Venus is a very social young lady, and everyone she meets is a friend - potentially a bestie, and definitely deserving of a few licks to brighten their day. (It will; it definitely will.) Her joyful attitude is absolutely contagious, and you can't NOT smile after meeting Venus. This smart cookie is already learning all the doggy ropes from the other dogs in her foster home. She is around several other dogs of all sizes and personalities, and this magnetic girl gets along with all of them, from the big to the small. She is learning so much, and has mastered the 'sit' already. If all of that isn't enough (!), Venus is extremely cat-friendly, so much so that we think she might be part cat, lol. See her video where she routinely hangs out on the cat tree with her foster feline siblings - it just can't get any MORE cat-friendly than Venus the Perfect Puppy! Venus is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/675c75c4fbecae6470041974 Please email Tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1200.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Starry Night! But you can call me Star. I am a female, 2-year-old heeler mix and I weigh about 50 pounds. I am a darling girl with such a winning temperament and personality. I have a great energy level; I enjoy a nice walk or run (I do very well on a leash), but I also enjoy cuddling up next to you for hours. I am intelligent and highly food motivated, that combination makes training me a cinch.    I’m a quiet girl, and although I don’t love my crate, I will go in and not complain about it and sleep quietly all night. Occasionally if I don’t want to go in, then I will lay on my back and wag my tail as I stare up at you endearingly with my big brown doe eyes hoping that will do the trick! I was regularly crated in my foster home when I was new here but I have very much earned my freedom to roam the house as I am not destructive and have pretty good house manners. Since coming to be with my foster family I have never had an accident in my crate or in the house. I know that going potty is an outside activity. Without any training, only from watching my foster siblings, I picked up how to use the doggy door on my first day here. I like my foster siblings, but I tend to play more of a motherly role, if they get too rambunctious, especially when near my foster mom, then by my choice I play the local sheriff and gently but firmly keep everyone in line. I also prefer to be the only dog getting attention, and smoothly push any other attention seekers out of my way. My foster siblings all respect this sheriff, even the more dominant dogs. I’ve heard a baby cry a few times in my foster home on something they refer to as “The T.V.” I am very sensitive to it and every time it happens, I perk up and look very prepared to go save that baby in need. My foster mom hasn’t seen me around kids yet, but I would probably do well with respectful kids. I could potentially do well around cats also. If you hope to gaze at this beautiful Star every night, then apply to meet me at: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2024, 9:27 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  HOLIDAY ADOPTION ALERT!    Meet AIMEE – The Perfect Christmas Cuddle Buddy!    Hi there, I’m AIMEE, a 3-month-old Border Collie mix with a heart full of love and paws ready for adventure! At just 11 pounds, I’m the ideal size for snuggles, and I’ll grow to be about 35 pounds—perfect for a lifetime of companionship.   What makes me special?  I’m a sweet, cuddly pup who LOVES other dogs! Whether it’s romping around with my foster sisters or snoozing on the couch, I’m happiest with friends.  I have the best of both worlds—a playful, medium energy level that’s great for fun and snuggles.  I’m learning so fast! I’m already working on potty training and sleep quietly in my crate all night (after a brief "puppy protest").   What I’m wishing for this holiday season:  A loving family who’s ready for my puppy kisses and playful spirit.  A fenced yard where I can safely explore and play to my heart’s content.  Someone patient to help me perfect my leash skills and learn to chew only my toys (puppy teething is real!).   I’m smart, eager to please, and so ready to be your best friend for life. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving pup to complete your family, I might just be your holiday wish come true!    Ready to meet me? Apply today: bit.ly//RRAdoptionApplication   Let’s make this Christmas magical together!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 16, 2024, 3:27 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi guys, our names are Cheezit (light brown) & Cosmic Brownie (dark brown). We’re new to this world and eager to learn and ready to explore.   We love wrestling with each other and get along great with our much bigger foster brother. We’ve been introduced to a thing call “the cat” which we are very curious about, but we leave her alone when she tells us she’s had enough of us.   Our foster mom says we’re doing awesome at potty training and crate training. We sleep almost the whole night in our crate and have a good morning routine. We’re still puppies and are learning basic commands though so it’ll be awesome if you’re willing to teach us these new things to be better pups and more confident. Cosmic Brownie seems to be the ‘bigger brother’ leader type and Cheezit is usually right by his side ready to tag along with a little more of a timid aspect.   These 2 cuties are 3-month-old border collie mixes and weight about 10 lbs. They would love to find a home they can learn and grow older in.
