Kona is the sweetest, cuddly love bug of a dog I have ever had. I rescued her from a broken home where she was left to roam the streets in the snow as a pup. I have had her for about two years and it breaks my heart to have to give her up. She is very energetic and needs a lot of space to run. She would do well in a yard with high fences. Unfortunately she is our 3rd dog and she has learned how to get out of her new yard. She does very well with other dogs and loves to pounce and play. She loves kids and always tries to lick my 2yr old nephew in the face. If you let her, she will crawl into your lap for cuddles. Kona does well in the house, but I would not leave her alone with your food. She is crate trained but needs leash training. We work long hours and do not have the time to commit to training her the way she needs, but with the right owner she will make a great family dog.

Hey Pittie people… what do you love about pitties? Is it their couch potato tendencies, their love for pets and kisses, their obedience and loyalty? If it’s all of the above, Muttley Crew is the pup for you! We think Muttley is a Pittie, Border Collie mix but she is a rescue so these are simply our best guesses. She’s estimated to be just one year old, and weighs in at a lightweight and compact 40 pounds. Muttley had all of the patience in the world for Stella’s shy demeanor, and was sooo respectful of her. They shared space well and even shared some cheese! There was cheese to be had with Dunkin as well, a confident and stable Shepherd boy. They were a little more playful with each other, sharing kisses and doing little training games with us. Sweet Muttley really comes out of her shell in her foster home though, where she runs and plays with her foster siblings. They share toys really well and like to chase tennis balls together. One of the sweetest things about Muttley is how much she loves affection. She adores her people and loves a good couch snuggle. She’ll do this adorable little army crawl across the couch to rest her head on your lap, and your heart will melt entirely. She loves to be pet on her head, behind her ears, and on her chest. She loves affection, but doesn’t paw or whine for it- she’s so polite. Muttley is also just a well-rounded well-behaved lady. She knows “sit” on command, takes treats really gently and has good leash manners. Here at the rescue we even tested her leash manners when passing another dog on the street and she was so respectful and minded her business. She would be an easy dog to have in an urban area because of this. Muttley is such a gorgeous and lovable girl, and she’s ready for her forever home. We think she would do best in a home with no kitties. She could thrive in an apartment or a house, she’s simple like that! While we haven’t seen her with kids just yet, we think she has the makings of a great family dog for a home with kids over ten. Meet Atari! This sweet girl is looking for her forever home! She is an active dog looking for an active house to join. She loves to play fetch, tug, go on hikes and dog sports. Meet Clyde! Clyde is a stunning, dark chocolate-colored boy, estimated to be about a year old, and suspected to be a mix of Border Collie, Husky, and possibly Kelpie. Weighing around 40 pounds, he is the perfect medium-sized companion. Clyde is calm, sweet, and incredibly gentle—qualities that everyone who meets him immediately notices. Clyde thrives in a home where patience and understanding abound. While he can be a little timid and unsure in new situations, he’s eager to build his confidence with adopters who are willing to guide him. He’s been excelling in his training at Bandit Stay and Play, where the staff absolutely adore him. He enjoys playing with other dogs in playgroups, though he’s still learning when it’s time to take a break. Don’t let his calm demeanor fool you—Clyde is always ready for an adventure!
