Story
Meet Zara! A fun and active, 30# petite 8 year old Border Collie that is revved and ready to go! This girl is lean, strong, athletic, and super intelligent. She is a fiercely loyal girl who loves to snuggle, and would love to find a home that will take her along for adventures and outings. Zara is excellent with other easy going dogs, is house trained, crate trained, great on leash, and amazing on recall. She would make a great walking partner, hiking or running buddy, and loves to get out and run and chase. Zara LOVES every single person she meets, enjoys kids of all ages, and even gets along great with cats! Zara would be happiest in a home that would provide her a balance of exercise, structure, affection, and boundaries. She is a very loyal girl and her generall personality is outgoing, happy, and loving. She can be a teeny bit timid at times, and with continued support, and gentle and consistent handling, she will continue to build confidence. Zara loves to get affection and is consistently available on just a moment's notice. Zara is wonderful about resting quietly on her bed or the couch while her foster mom works from home- alerting only to shady UPS delivery people and the occasional dog and walker going past her front window. She sometimes carries on while her foster family is away, so a home without shared walls would be best. Zara enjoys the safe retreat of her crate and will be happiest if she has one in her adoptive home. Zara is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and health checked. Her adoption fee is $200. To be considered, please apply online at caws.org! Thanks! Story
Meet Goose, a sweet, goofy, and lovable pup who’s ready to be your new best friend! This little bundle of sunshine adores everyone she meets, whether they have two legs or four.Goose’s journey began in a rural area of New Mexico, where she had been abandoned. She made her way to Utah and has been happy living the good life ever since. With her boundless energy and love for the outdoors, Goose would make the perfect trail companion, always up for a hike, run, or any adventure you throw her way.At 35 lbs, Goose is a petite pup—possibly an Aussie mix, though her exact breed is anyone’s guess! She’s the ideal size for an active lifestyle, and her enthusiasm for exercise means she’s looking for a home where daily activity is a priority. But when the adventures wind down, she’s happy to curl up for snuggles or entertain herself with toys.Goose would love a home where her humans are around for most of the day. She’d enjoy having a playful dog sibling but would also do just fine in a one-pup household.Goose is a smart and eager learner who just needs the right guidance to shine. If you’re ready for a fun, loving, and adventurous partner, Goose may be the perfect fit for your family!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Story
Hi! My name is Raine and I am 1 year and 5 month old Australian Shepard/Border Collie/Pitbull mix. I am a very playful girl who will make you laugh with my silly personality, and my howls! I am shy at first, but once you gain my trust I am extremely loving and cuddly. I am also very loyal, I will follow you wherever you go! I don’t do well with other dogs right away, I need someone who will take the time to let me warm up to other dogs by going on pack walks. I have been able to make other dog friends by doing this! I will do best in a home with no other animals. I LOVE to go on adventures, especially paddle boarding and hiking. On-leash days in Millcreek canyon are my favorite because I’m able to enjoy the outdoors without other dogs getting in my space! I also love the snow, I could roll and play in it all day long! I am spayed, up-to-date on my vaccinations, crate-trained and potty trained.

Among them is John Snow, a captivating little hero with a personality as warm as his striking looks! Imagine this: a fluffy friend with soulful eyes that tell tales of loyalty and love, ready to light up your life. His playful spirit and affectionate nature make him the perfect blend of energy and sweetness that every family needs. John Snow's days are filled with joy—whether he’s chasing after toys, wagging his tail in delight, or curling up for cuddle time, he brings endless happiness and laughter. His charming personality is sure to steal your heart in an instant! To add John Snow to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2059610##

Story
Chris 435-881-5476He is very sweet and obedient once you get to know him, but he is stubborn, needs lots of mental/physical stimulation and he is very anxious/high-strung. We took him to petsmart training classes but he just cannot function well anywhere outside of our home or if we have people over to visit. He is very protective of his family which is unfortunately a double edge sword as he feels he needs to be on high alert when anyone is around. He has never bitten anyone but he has nipped at a few people who have tried to get too comfortable, too quickly. He deserves someone who has the time and experience necessary to give him a life that he deserves.
