Story
Evie is a sweet, gentle, quiet, and clever female border collie around 3 to 4 years old. She loves people, but is never overbearing about it. Showing affection for Evie looks like giving soft little kisses or gently resting her head on your feet. Despite her breed, her energy levels are very manageable. As long as she gets out for a good game of fetch or some park time, she is perfectly content to nap for the rest of the day. She absolutely loves to play with other dogs, especially when they let her follow them around so she can 'herd' them but she's never pushy about it! In fact, she is very submissive and seems to get along well with pretty much any dog, even the picky ones. Her foster family has yet to even hear her bark! She was found as a stray in central Utah with one blind eye, and we're not sure how she ended up that way. Despite her history as a stray, she is completely potty trained and blew her foster family away by not having a single accident in the house. She also has perfect manners walking on leash! Evie is quickly adjusting to city life but she still needs some help sometimes with confidence in new situations. She still gets a little nervous getting into cars, but once she is inside she does great and does not make a peep. She is friendly to strangers, but will sometimes need some coaxing to come out and say hi, especially with men. She prefers the safety of her crate or underneath the table until she feels comfortable enough to greet someone new. As long as the newcomer is patient and quiet, she will be their friend in no time- especially if they brush her hair, which she LOVES.Evie is the perfect dog for someone who wants the intelligence, loyalty, and trainability of a border collie without the intense energy commitment. She is a little sensitive to loud noises, and would do best in a quiet home without young kids to stress her out. She would also prefer a home with a yard, as she loves to spend her afternoons just sitting outside. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Story
Hi! My name is Raine and I am 1 year and 5 month old Australian Shepard/Border Collie/Pitbull mix. I am a very playful girl who will make you laugh with my silly personality, and my howls! I am shy at first, but once you gain my trust I am extremely loving and cuddly. I am also very loyal, I will follow you wherever you go! I don’t do well with other dogs right away, I need someone who will take the time to let me warm up to other dogs by going on pack walks. I have been able to make other dog friends by doing this! I will do best in a home with no other animals. I LOVE to go on adventures, especially paddle boarding and hiking. On-leash days in Millcreek canyon are my favorite because I’m able to enjoy the outdoors without other dogs getting in my space! I also love the snow, I could roll and play in it all day long! I am spayed, up-to-date on my vaccinations, crate-trained and potty trained.

These pups are in Ogden, Utah too!

Story
Meet Rou-Bear, a sweet 10-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix in search of a new family. Rou is tenderhearted, great with kids and other dogs, and has a special fondness for small dogs and other small animals. While she can be a bit timid at first, her loving nature shines through with time. Rou-bear enjoys playtime with toys, going for walks and hikes, and snuggling up for cozy moments. She’s well-mannered, crate trained, and potty trained, making her a wonderful companion. Rou-bear has been a part of our family for almost a decade. We got her when she was four months old to give our dachshund a sibling. We’ve made the difficult decision to rehome both of them because we no longer have the space, time, or bandwidth to give them the love and attention they deserve. If you can offer her a warm and caring home, please reach out.

Story
If you are looking for your next best friend and adventure dog, rockie is your dog! We have loved this dog so much and really breaks my heart we have to do this. We have a 1 year old and 1 on the way and we just can’t give rockie the attention we used to be able to. He is super loyal, which is great but it’s makes it hard because he wants to be by my side at all times. He needs a lot of exercise, if he gets it he can be a very chill and happy dog.

Story
Blue was born on July 4th 2023. It was an unplanned pregnancy because her mom was too old to have any more puppies. She is the only puppy that survived the birth. I sold here about 5 months later because I was moving into an apartment and wouldn't have room for her to run and get the exercise she needs. The people who bought her contacted me awhile ago and informed me that they could no longer keep her so I took her back. I still live in an apartment and don't have the space for her to get the exercise she needs. She is a big sweetheart and will try to give you a hug any chance she gets. She does really well with kids and other dogs. She listens well and learns new things quickly. She is a high energy dog so the more room you have for her the better. Mom is half husky half Australian shepherd, dad is half Australian shepherd and half border Collie.
