Story
From Spots foster: Mr. Spotty Spotterson was surrendered to us by a family who could no longer care for him. A mature boy of about 8 years, he is still a puppy at heart and loves to play with other dogs and toys, but his true love is just being close to his person and the love in his entire being pores out at you through his amazing eye contact. If you are gone for even a few minutes, his little nub tail will go a mile a minute when you return to him. There should be no problem having Spotty off leash because his truest desire is to be close to his person. It was obvious that he was very upset and sad at being left behind by his previous family, so it was impossible not to take him home to foster. Spott is very well mannered and his biggest flaw is that sometimes he stays so close you could trip on him. He is learning that a tiny bit of space is OK! He has learned basic commands and walks beautifully on a leash. He LOVES car rides and settles in immediately for the adventure. He is definitely a bit of an attention hog, but we are working on moderation while still fulfilling his need to be loved. Some dogs you wonder what the heck they are thinking, not Spotty, his desires are absolutely clear - he wants to feel safe and secure and loved by his person and he will return those feelings 10 fold if you let him into your life. Spott would be a great dog to take to work with you - you would never have to worry about where he was and he loves people more than even food! Come meet this deserving boy - he still has so much life in him and so much love to share .

This handsome fella is Bryan! Bryan was transferred from another shelter, along with another dog, who has since been adopted. Bryan walks on a leash well and appears friendly with other dogs. He can be slightly shy when he first meets people but warms up quickly. Bryan is currently in foster with another dog (Val) and doing very well! https://www.instagram.com/p/C72TZ6mM_ix/
